FAMILY UPDATE…
It’s not everyday that we get
to team up with the grandparents to
take care of the kids. We’ve been
extra blessed this week as Rebecca’s
mom flew down to do just that with
Rebecca while I’m on the other side
of the country. We have some pretty
amazing parents!

How would your neighborhood, your work
place, your school, your family… how would it
change if you started living out better the values
you say you have? That was one for the questions
in our workbook today as I studied with one of our
pastors about disciple-making and church planting.
As I write this. I’m spending a week here in
the northern part of the island focusing on doing
some training and growing with our church family
in Nagua. It’s been challenging in more ways than
one. It’s never fun being away from Rebecca and
the kids like this, and we’ve been putting in some
long hours working through some things. It’s also
been making me stop and think about how I can be
a better disciple of Christ myself. I just want to keep
growing, and I hope you do too. Will you pray for
us as we endeavor to do just that? Specifically pray
for this church in Nagua to grow and overcome an
unpleasant past with some deep scars. Thank you!
