Is It Right to Start Using Genetics to Clone and Develop New DNA?

Adding some more information and explaining this topic, people can see in movies that

there is a lot of new improvements in technology, right? One of those improvements in the actual

world in cloning and modifying DNA of every species like rats, bunnies, and even humans!

Once we can be modifying them with more precisions and perfection, society will start to

change, and could bring lots of good consequences as bad consequences. Most of the time is

passing so fast, and with this means that every single day there are new technologies that if they

are good enough, we the people could see that new improvements shortly in our daily lives.

Also. In this little essay will talk about more of this theme and what happen to the humanity if

we continue with this rhythm.

This topic goes to the audience from the ages 16 and forward because I think this is a

interesting theme that most high schoolers can find attractive because it can influence in their

future. Also, to those whom are 20 and older, it can be interesting to them because at this age it is

when they have college complete and knows how the world works. But especially this goes for

those who have completed a degree in engineering because this is involved too much with

engineering branches. In my school, in Texas, engineering is one of the most abundant careers

choices that are in here, and I think that most of the readers reading this will find this important

and innovating. The most likely audience seems to know or want to know is how this can end

with. As I have said, the time is passing so fast and everybody has ever thought about how their

lives will be in 30 or 40 years. This is because future is so unpredictable, that makes people think

how society will look like, how will their lives will be and in what type of environment they will

live. The audience may spend with this information couple of hours, they will reflect about these

genres presented and then will think about if it is alright to start cloning and changing DNA's in

order to change people's lives. Finally, the purpose of all this information presented by the genres

in to inform and persuade that this is the society we want in the future, the one with people

walking in the streets with statures with more than 10''6 or red skin and people with 3 eyes and

even 8 fingers! Because this is what modifying DNA can do, change any type of living concept

and transform it into a new one so people can "enjoy" this new type of technologies.

Rhetorical Issues: Ethos, Pathos, Logos

All this essay will be more focused in ethos because the theme is mainly about

persuading by where the information is coming from and show how they truly are and using

expert's testimonials. This is mainly being too much effective because in the moment where

people are reading something, it is hard to make them believe that all the information that they

are reading is true and make them think as the same way of this topic will talk about. Not

everybody is easy to convey, so this topic will be use lots of credible sources and expert opinions

and that is why of the big use of ethos in this theme. This genre helps to evoke an emotional

response from the audience because the simplicity that the topics is explained that will make

people feel that or one, they may be doing right, or they may be doing bad towards their future.

Also, some emotions that the reader may feel is anger and/or discouraged because of the

technology changes that affect so hard in people's lives. The types of evidence as shown, will be

most likely to be expert opinions and sources that comes from credible sites. Not all branches

cover DNA or biomedical engineering but I'm sure that people will find it super important

because of the futuristic, non-fiction world, that may be coming very soon. This evidence listed

above are used to support the claims of the information in the genres and they may be

appropriate because of the credibility of how they will be used in certain points of the essay.

Structure

The information shaped by the genres are not limited, it has freedom of space with

limited time because of how fast time pass and it is not that far that the dream of cloning and

DNA modifying will come true. So, audience will notice the shape of the information that it will

come because it will be correctly listed and easily to understand, besides that the information will

be described as people want it to be, nice and easy. The genres are nicely organized to convey

the message? Yes. As said, this brings people and attracts them to continue reading this and

make them successfully understand the message that this topic is trying to persuade and convey

through the different people reading this and the difference of lives that they have. The structure

also will not use lots of hard reading graphs because people just does not understand it and get

bored of it and then they just stop reading this because they just get bored and they do not want

to struggle reading a simple essay. This will help, as the purpose of the information is to

persuade, to facilitate the readers to understand what is going on the topic so they do not get

bored or just simply does not understand it at all.

Style/Language

The structure of the essay will be formal, this is because it is easier (I think) to understand

and easier to explain because of the simplicity of the writing that the readers will understand

every single detail perfectly. Furthermore, the language will be a little bit specialized because

cloning and modifying it’s not something that we see every day or even in the school. So, there

will be some cases that the information will be forced to use specialized vocabulary because of

the specific terms that cannot be explained through simply words, or phrases. What other

language features do you notice? No others, this will be just a simply essay that does not take too

much effort because does not focus in special writing techniques, this focuses in conveying and

persuading the reader to think more about how they want their future to be, that if it is

completely right to start cloning and modifying DNA for our "convenience".

Conclusion/Synthesis

The most effective genre in conveying its message was the ethos, the expert opinions and

the sources listed. This is because of their high understandability that does not make the reader

hard to understand and easy to explain how every single detail mentioned above can go through

the audience's emotions and make the feel how it is supposed to, besides that make them think

that if we are leading to the right future where cloning is completely normal and safe or not. So,

is this really a big issue that we, the humanity, will have to worry about in a future? Because I

have seen some examples of how it looks like in animals. Cloning the same cow to produce more

food or make rats with two heads are not nice to say. And, that once we accomplish all these

features that cloning needs to be tested in humans, will it be worth it?
