A. Objectives
Our topic focuses on the one of the common problems that the students of JILCF
encounter every day which is “School Bullying Outbreak”. The reporters prepared the
presentation regarding this topic to inform the students of the side effects that bullying
can do to an individual. This type of problem is very common to happen in school that is
quite very alarming that can result for a student to commit suicide, which is very common
nowadays. In this alarming state, we prepared and list some of the ways on how to cope
up with this kind of problem, on how to deal with this kind of problem to avoid the
increasing rate of suicide rate of students and to avoid the negative effects that it can
bring to a student.
B. Description of the Activity
This activity, in relation to the Midterm Project in Empowerment Technology,
generally aims to talk about the common problems that the students in JILCF encounter,
for the student to be aware about this common problem and how to deal with it if they are
currently experiencing this kind of problem or somehow, they know someone who are
currently experiencing this kind of problem and they’ll be able to give advice to them
since they are already aware or knowledgeable about their problem. To come up with the
success of our project, the reporters used tools such as Microsoft Word for the needed
documents to be printed out such as letter of permission, the survey questionnaires for the
pre survey regarding to our topic, and the final documentation once the presentation and
survey is done. The reporters also used the Microsoft Excel for the tabulation of data that
regards to the results of the pre survey that we conducted. In presenting our report to one
of the section in JILCF, the reporters also used Microsoft PowerPoint in preparation of
the needed PowerPoint slides that will help the students understand the topic more. The
PowerPoint slides will be all about our main topic, the proposed solutions and our
recommendation. We will also record and video the said presentation that is conducted
for online purposes. The reporters also used Social Network WordPress and a Facebook
group page as a medium of communication for the students who also experience this kind
of problem outside the campus to be knowledgeable enough about this kind of problem.
This project wouldn’t result to a success without the reporters applied knowledge about
the subject, Empowerment Technology. The activity clearly shows the importance of the
different types of Microsoft Office, the importance of the correct and proper use of it and
being skilled enough to use it.
C. Body
The success of the project, in relation to the Midterm Project in
Empowerment Technology that is conducted inside the campus of JILCF is because of
the scheduled task that needs to be done to come up with the results and findings and the
documentation of this project. First, the reporters observe and ask some students of
JILCF on what problems they mostly encounter every day or every time they are going to
school. The reporters list it all out and have been approved first before gathering
information regarding the topic that will be pick out by the subject teacher. In regards to
gathering information, we conducted a pre survey to 59 students of JILCF. The questions
in the survey is all related to the topic that has been picked out and will help the reporters
for the presentation. For the pre survey to be conducted, one of the reporters already
prepare the letter of permission and the other one already prepare the survey
questionnaires that will be answered by some of the students of JILCF. Next, the reports
should have schedule a time to conduct the PowerPoint presentation in one of the section
of their choices and the other reporter should documented it for online purposes. Also, the
reporters should have tabulated the results of pre survey through the use of MS Excel,
post the documentation online and prepare the final presentation of the documentation
that includes mainly all the information and data used and the result and findings of this
project conducted. All the needed task, datas, files and information that regards to the
success of this project will took for about two weeks. In the span of two weeks, the
reporters should have provide and accomplish the following outputs:
