Who is the lesson for? The lesson was for kg 2, and it was for the all abilities.

Where did the lesson take place? I introduce the lesson while they in the group tables but I do an
activity they have to do it in the front of the classroom which is a large white paper with a steps of
numbers by tens and they have to walk in each step with say the number.

What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? Teaching the students the concept of counting by tens,
once and five and I tried let the students recognize the numbers by seeing the number and recognize if its
written by tens , five or once. And about the teaching professional I tried to use good transition from the
group work to the front classroom activity beside manage them during all the lesson.

What did the students do? The students were involved with me, as they know the idea of counts by once
so that easy for me to teach them counting by tens and five so that by shows them a video so they dance
and sing with them.

I think that the kids visual learner more so using with them the visual strategy, which is using object that
a successful strategy to deliver and instill the information for the kids. Moreover I used the cubes to

they were so involving with me by counting the cubes with me.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? In the day before I teach them
un idea of how to count by tens so that easy for me to teach them on the other lesson also the
introducing video was helpful.

goals?

YES I achieved my goals , and I observe that by saw that students activities if they understand and know
the idea.

Transform (T):

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future? In the future I would like to use
more fun way to deliver the idea of counting by tens, five and once which is using the real life
experience, by preparing by paper , five octopus and each one will have ten leg so that will be fun to
count if I ask them to count by once they will count one by one leg and if I ask them to count by tens they
will count each head as each head have 10 leg. So this way will be fun and easy to understand and
remember.
What are the implications for your professional practice? The implications was on self and classroom
practice which is I fell more confidence and actually in this day I was not prepared myself I just prepare
the lesson plan but I feel that I can do it so when I teach I used my MST strategy so that help me a lot to
improve myself also about the classroom managing.
