German Briefing
The River Klopot is a narrow waterway whose narrow cross-section is deceptively deep. The stone
bridge east of the village of Vilsk is the only surviving bridge across the river capable of handling
armored traffic. The OKW has been ordered the bridge to be blown after the last elements of the 18 th
Independent Heavy Tank Company reaches the western bank. Unfortunately, the fluid situation has
caused the units who need to be in Vilsk to be at other points along the front. Some charges were sent a
few days ago, but their disposition is in question. Meanwhile the Russians are driving toward the bridge.
You have been assigned the task of securing the bridge until the 18 th Ind. Hv. Tank Co. can cross, and
then blowing it up. Lucky you…

Allied Briefing
The River Klopot is a narrow waterway whose narrow cross-section is deceptively deep. The stone
bridge east of the village of Vilsk is the only surviving bridge across the river capable of handling
armored traffic. It must be secured before the Germans can destroy it. The part of the Red Army
spearhead is composed of units from the Polish People’s Army. Driving hard and taking the bridge
would be a snub to the Soviets. Commissars have contacted friendly resistance units to aid your efforts.
