meeting taken place. Especially what the community wants.

Instructions: Each question must be answered in a short paragraph with complete, grammatically correct
sentences. All minimum writing requirements apply (Correct spelling, punctuation, etc.). I am looking for
honesty above all else.

1. Backward-Looking
a. In what ways have you gotten better at this work? How can you improve moving forward?
i. I have gotten better with talking to more people for interviews. Better organization of
collecting information. Also using my skills in photoshop and taking photographs to make
the project pop. I can improve this by keeping up my communication and staying in tune
with what’s going on in the community. Aslo being able to communicate with others
outside of the school district and meeting new people, learning new ideas.

b. What problems did you encounter while you were working on this piece? How did you solve
them?
i. A problem we did run into was finding a person for the trees and streetscape. But we
overcame this problem by receiving a message from Dr.rupp for a guy that we can
contact for trees and streetscape. Since that is a better source to use since he is there
with the streetscape. Also another a issue was we weren’t together a few days out of the
week due to trips taken. So we had to catch up on the project but worked twice as hard
on those days to get work done.

2. Inward-Looking
a. How do you feel about your work? What parts of it do you particularly like? Dislike? Why? What
did/do you enjoy about this work?
i. I feel pretty good about my work. I loved doing the photos because it used my strong
skill of photoshop and taking photos to show before and after of the beautification. I love
the 3D model, it’s something that is completely different then other projects and a
slideshow to top it off as well. I just really love the visuals because its gives them a
second to look at it now and think about it. Instead of visualizing the idea in their mind. I
don't dislike anything about this project because we can get our ideas out to people in
the community. I really enjoyed everything about this project because it was different
then other projects we have done this year. Since we can get our ideas out there in a
creative way with light up poster, 3D model, slideshow, and manipulation of photos.

b. What did you learn about yourself as you worked on this piece?
i. That I have a lot of good ideas to bring forth to my group. Also taking my photography
skills and being able to use it for the project. I also learned that i enjoy these projects
with being able to reach out to the people in the community to see what they think and
more information. Also during research seeing how much the square has changed over
time.

3. Outward-Looking
a. Did you complete your work in the same manner as those around you? How were you
different?
i. No my group together finished earlier than the others around us. We were different by
staying on task coming up with ideas on how to present our project. Also by using time
outside of class to complete the 3D model or getting photos completed during the period
when we had release. Lastly just helping out each other on longer sections that we had
then others. So we had a working system more than others.

b. If someone else were looking at this work, what might they learn about who you are?
i. That we are a creative group and very well organized. By using different fonts for each
section to change it up. Different color for each section as well matching the border
paper too. Using a few pictures on the board to make it pop as well as lights added to it.
Very thorough information but not much to where it is overwhelming. As well as having
flyers ready to be handed out. Also a 3D model to really show what we envision the
square to look like downtown. As well as manipulating the photos for murals that have
blank walls. Lastly just being organized overall with our work and extra information we
have.

4. Forward-Looking
a. What would you change if you had a chance to do this work over again?
i. Nothing.

b. Describe a weakness that was highlighted during the process of completing your work, and
describe what you will do in the future to overcome your weakness.
i. The only weakness was just the trips taken by each group member during the time
period but we overcame the problem by taking the time to double up our work when trips
were completed.
