Lesson Plan

Level: 12th grade - advanced Number of students: 36 Length of the lesson: 50 minutes
Topic: Unit 1 – Home Life (basic) Teaching Date: Feb 15, 2017

Main aim: By the end of the lesson, students will have general knowledge about conflicts between parents and children in domestic
chores, be able to tell a story about and express their opinion on the matter.
Subsidiary aim:
Personal aim: Through the teaching process, a moral lesson is intended. Students are also expected to personalize their language
usage.
Assumption: Students have learned the simple present tense and the adjectives used in practice phase.
Anticipated problems & solutions:
Problem: Students may have trouble overcoming embarrassment in telling a personal story and may encounter difficulties
understanding and recognizing the form of new grammar points.
Solution: The teacher will encourage students by giving their own examples and simplify explanations.
