SYNOPSIS
 The project entitled “Tournament Scheduler” is used for managing the events
in college. The system is an application that can be accessed throughout the organization
with proper login provided. This system can be used as an application for the college
departments to manage the student’s registration details for events. The project provides
the facility of maintaining the details of the students. It also provides a requested list of
students to be viewed separately based on given query.

Based on the event registration, alerts can be provided. User verification is done in
login form. Administrator may also search any information put up by the students. It will
also help in fast access procedures in department related activities. The system has secured
login system which is designed for authenticating users. When the user enters wrong
username or password, the software won’t allow access to use.

When there is any forthcoming events, users can view the updates easily through
the system. So that students can take part in events like workshops, symposiums, sports
and seminars without absence. Staff will be the major user of the software; once they login
they get access to use the software. Students can visit the website and can register for
single events or for team events. The system has been developed using PHP and MySQL.
