Representative flashcards with pictures of the little tale story for


vocabulary.
Printed the little tale story.
Handout with reading comprehension questions.

Length 30 minutes.
Procedure

Pre-reading Present the students with flashcards of two birds Plenary 2”
of a duck and a goose. After that, present the
students one flashcard of a goose bird and ask
them “What is it?” Is it a duck or a goose? Be
ready to elicit the words given and tell them the
correct answer (Appendix 1).

Pre- reading Write and show with a picture the following title Plenary 4”
The goose with the Golden Eggs. Tell the students
that they have to predict the content according to
the title (Appendix 2).

Pre-reading Read, drill, and practice with the students the first Plenary 4”
page of the little tale story. Invite the class to
predict the sequence of the tale story and correct
the wrong pronunciation (Appendix 3).

While- reading Divide the class in four groups and hand over GW 5”
them a part of the text each group. Ask them to
work together to relate the text with pictures on

the board in the correct order and the last part of

assignment. (Appendix 4).

While- reading Provide the students a handout activity to do after GW 10”


finish reading. Read the text again and ask the Plenary
students to repeat it after. Finally, explain them
the moral message of the little tale story.
Ask the students to answer the following
comprehension questions (Appendix 5).

Post-reading Play with the students a memory game focused on GW 5”


vocabulary seen in the little tale story. Students Plenary
will have to relate words with the correct picture.
