The summit on Entrepreneurship held at SCMS Cochin School of Business leads

to interesting discussions in presence of leading dignitaries from the industry

Mr.Kochuouseph Chittilapilly, founder and Chairman, V-Guard, inaugurated the summit. It

was a week long celebration with 25 successful speakers in the campus from 13th November
to 18th November 2017.Many entrepreneurs provide valuable insights and shared their
motivational entrepreneurial journey on that week. Ms. Lakshmi Menon, founder of pure
living, carried out the second day sessions. On the third of "Entreventure" Mr. Jofin Joseph
Head of Operations, India at FullContact Inc. and Co-founder of Profoundis addressed the
gathering. He spoke about what it takes to start up on your own and his own personal
experience. Each failure was a stepping stone for them.

Mr.Akshay Agarwal, Managing Director, Acumen Capital Markets India Ltd. He was the
speaker of the 4th day of Entreventure. He said that everybody is a package - good and bad;
our talent is to ignore the bad and get the good from them. On the 5th day of Entreventure,
Four successful women entrepreneurs Ms. Shalini James Founder, CEO & Lead designer at
Mantra, Ms. Lekha Balachandran Managing Director, Resitech Electricals, Ms. Preeti Nambiar
Founder, Baanyan Tree and Ms. Meera Manoj Founder, Meera’s cuisines , who spoke about
their journey, the hardships and their love for their work.

On the 6th day, Mr. Vivek Prabhakar, Founder, SHUNYA Breathe, which is concentrated in
research, personal transformation, education and organizational consulting addressed the
students. After the session, Mr. Rajesh Nair, President- TiE Kerala, addressed the members of
SCMS family during the last session of Entreventure. The next session was handled by Ms.
Anupama Roy, MBA batch 2, inspired the budding entrepreneurs of SCMS Cochin, through
her experience sharing in the field of designing from Blocks & Prints boutique. After the
session Mr. Abdullah Jamal, Founder & Chief Trainer, AchievedIn motivated the aspiring
managers of SCMS Cochin, through his experience sharing in the field of training through
Neuro Linguistic Programming. The next session was managed by Mr. Parag Sen, Co-Founder
and Director, homepecked.com, as the Chief Guest for the sixth and last day of the celebration
of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Entreventure witnessed Alumnus Santosh Kumar talking
about his entrepreneurship and SCMS life. Through his words, he urged the students to
recognize your passions and be realistic about the idea.
