Dear Mr Low,

With regards to your suggestion for me to continue rendering further and more substantive service as
Tunas Edar Account Clerk, I am afraid that I have to put my foot down with my initial decision to resign.
This owes to the fact that I would rather align myself with the science stream, preferably in the field of
chemical engineering than that of fiscal management for that is where my passion truly lies and it is
beyond my desire to let all the key pertinent skills I gained in my previous training goes to waste.
Though, admittedly, my working experience here has indeed been an “outlet” for me to broaden my
perspective and in turn, enrich my knowledge, albeit too routine for my own taste, I cannot see myself
getting seriously involved in such line of work for a longer term as you have wished. As I previously
noted in your subtly persuasive attempt to change my mind, for which I appropriately deemed it as
more of a motivational pep talk, the very intention of my willingness to partake in the effort to pull the
weigh that is currently burdening this TMG Group, is, to put it rather crudely, solely upon making a
better use of my free time prior to acquiring better opportunities. It is hoped my insistence to resign
should come as no surprise to you at this point and thusly, you are willing to grant your full blessing
upon my firm decision. All in all, it has been great to be a part of a budding prestigious organization,
hopefully TMG Group can continue to excel in the future endeavors.

Thank you.

Yours truly,
Siti Aishah bt Khaled
