To Whom it May Concern:

As a graduate of the Easton Area School District, I know the many wonderful resources it has to offer
as well as the great role diversity plays within all of its schools. This is the reason I am very interested in
applying for the Elementary level postings within the Easton Area School District. I am a recent
college graduate of Saint Francis University as of December, 2016. I am confident that my education
and experiences will contribute to the quality education your schools offer its young students.

Teaching has always been my passion. I firmly believe that every child is entitled to an enriching
education, respect, and professionalism. My goal is to motivate students to bring out their inner
strengths, abilities, and self-confidence to help them succeed and reach their potential. I aim to
provide a stimulating learning environment that fosters confidence and reflects my students’ unique
learning abilities. I also enjoy utilizing technology with my students. In today’s classroom technology
plays a vital role and our students love learning this way. I work towards bringing these experiences
as well as hands-on activities to my students.

Along with my skills, I will bring a creative, positive energy, accompanied by a desire and willingness
to work with others to achieve a common goal. I believe it takes team work within the school in order
to provide the best educational experience for our students. I have successfully demonstrated these
skills and qualities while student teaching in a first-grade learning support classroom. I have also
shown flexibility and commitment to education while teaching in the Easton Area District’s
elementary schools as a long term substitute teacher.

I am eager for the opportunity to continue to pursue my passion for teaching. Thank you for your
consideration, and I look forward to sharing how my experiences would benefit the students and
families within the school district.

Respectfully yours,

Brynn Hilsenbeck
