1. What do I do if I forget my SmartWeb password?
A. SmartWeb allows you reset your pass word at any time. Simply SELECT Forgot My
Password option on the SmartWeb login page. You will be prompted to enter the
answers to the 5 user designated security questions.
2. What do I do when there is an error logging into BannerWeb?
A. Occasionally the BannerWeb systems undergoes maintenance and is also susceptible
to bugs. You may select an option from the Quick Navigation Bar, a new page opens,
and BannerWeb requests a username and password. Simply CLOSE the new tab that
opens, select your option from the navigation bar, and a new BannerWeb tab opens
logged in successfully.
3. What is DegreeWorks?
A. DegreeWorks is similar to your academic transcript. It displays information
concerning mapping out the remainder of your college career at Augusta Tech. It
displays course taken, the grades you have received, and courses you need to take in
order to complete your program of study.
4. Can I use SmartWeb to address any discrepancies in my academic transcript?
A. No, SmartWeb which provides access to your BannerWeb account cannot address
transcript discrepancies, only display its content. In order to successfully address
discrepancies, you need to speak with a representative at the Student Records Office
on campus.
5. How do I address holds on my academic transcript?
A. If you have a hold on your account you may be hindered from viewing your online
academic transcript. Holds can placed for several reasons to include but are not limited
to outstanding fees, delays in administration processes, or even online system error.
You can view holds under the Student Services and Financial Aid tab located in
BannerWeb.
6. Who can I contact if I continue to receive login errors that this manual does not
address?
