This letter is in regard to Unit 2, 24 Cupania Street, Rocherlea, which was significantly damaged by fire,
suspected arson, on 8 March 2018. The property is owned by the Director of Housing.
As delegated under section 6AB of the Homes Act 1935, in my position as the Director of Portfolio and
Supply, I hereby grant authority for David Construction to act on behalf of the Director of Housing, to
engage with a Building Surveyor and to apply to Launceston City Council for all the relevant permits for
demolition of the named above property.
