1. Introduction

Thank you very much for your purchase of desktop compact automatic film processor,
ECOMAT9000.
This manual includes the basic instructions of daily use, maintenance, and countermeasures
during the troubles of ECOMAT9000.

It is important that all the instruction, description and safety issues are reviewed thoroughly
before using the equipment. After you finish studying the manual, please keep this manual with
the warranty card.

2. Safety Issues (please keep follow all the instructions)

Please read the "safety issues" thoroughly before using the equipment.
The following "safety issue" includes information on proper use to avoid damage to the
equipment and human (users). There are many different diagrams and signs showing different
meanings and all of them have important meanings. Please follow them carefully.

Warning Please do not ignore this sign. It may cause serious injuries or

Warning
Do not open the top cover while the equipment is running. The equipment includes
motors which may cause injuries if you touch it. The chemical solution may get into
your eyes or clothe.
Please turn off the power during maintenance. It may cause electric shock.

Make sure the earth cable is inserted. It may cause electric shock if it is not inserted
properly.
Use only 200V. It may cause fire and electric shock.

For any trouble or damage, stop the operation, pull out the power cable and contact
your local sales agent or distributor. If operation continues during any trouble, it may
cause fire or electric shock.

Warning
Do not splash any liquid to the equipment. Do not install the equipment where water
is present. It may cause damage and electric shock.
During operation, please make sure the equipment is stable and do not shake the
unit. It may cause damage, electric shock or fire.
Only a authorized engineer should open and fix the unit. It may cause fire, electric
shock or injuries unless you are trained. Please contact your local agent or
distributor.
Please do not modify the unit. It may cause fire, electric shock and injuries.

Warning
Please use only a 200V, 10A cable. Avoid multiple plug connection. It may cause
fire, trouble or injuries.
For installation, find a flat location where there is no vibration. If it is not properly
installed, the different chemical solution may get mixed up and cause trouble.
Make sure to thoroughly wash off the chemical solution in case you come in contact.
After handling the chemical solution, please wash hands. If the chemical solution
gets inside the eyes, wash thoroughly with water and consult with a doctor.
Make sure there is enough ventilation. If there is not enough ventilation, it may
cause trouble.
Do not place any objects on top of the power cable. It may cause fire.

Do not place any objects on top of the unit. It may cause damage, fire or injuries.

Place the power cable so that it may not be accidently pulled out. It may cause
injuries or damage.
When the power cable is pulled, do not pull the cord. Hold the power plug to pull it
out. It may cause trouble or electric shock.
During transportation, turn off the power, pull out the power cable and take out all
the chemical solution. Make sure the unit does not turn over. It may cause damage
and injuries.
Do not use mobile phone or any other device which generates electromagnetic field.
It may cause damage to the unit.
The unit is not explosion and fire proof. Do not use the unit where there are
flammable products.
In case the equipment is not used for a long time, turn off the power and pull out the
power cable. It may cause damage or fire.
If the unit is used after the power has been turned off for a long time, make sure the
unit is operating properly. It may cause damage or fire.
Do not turn the unit side ways during transportation. It will cause damage.

This equipment weights about 30kg. Make sure to be careful when opening the
package and handling the unit. It may cause injury and damage to the unit.

Warning on chemical solution


The Developing Solution has a high percentage of alkali, and fixing solution contains acidic
liquid.
Make sure they do not come in contact with human skin and eyes. The used chemical solution
(waste) needs to be disposed accordingly the regulation of your country. Please contact your
waste disposal agent for handling the chemical solution waste.

7-1 Preparation for Installation

This equipment is designed to be installed in a complete dark room. Check the measurement of
the equipment and keep enough room and space in the dark room, and also keep enough
space to work for changing the films. Make sure there is a power outlet for 100V - 200V, 10A.
Make sure there is water supply, and drainage. In case you purchase an optional water
solenoid valve, water filter unit, water pump unit, make sure there is enough space, installation
space and additional power outlet.
(For more details on the optional parts, please refer to page 23).

7-2 Installation
Please conduct the installation inside the dark room only. Please adjust the height position of
the equipment by turning the rubber of the stand to make sure it is parallel to the ground.

Warning
If the main unit is tilted, the developing solution and fixing solution may get mixed up inside the
unit and over flow. Please make sure the unit is installed flat to the ground.

7. Installation
Make sure there is ventilation fan and exhaust exit inside the dark room.

7-3 Handling the Waste Chemical Solution and Drain Hose

Connect each of the waste and water hose. Insert the Waste Hose to the waste drain. Collect
the chemical solution waste by connecting the waste hose to the tank. Please cut the hose to
the necessary length. Ask the waste disposal agent to collect the chemical solution waste.
Warning
Make sure the hoses do not bend in a U shape. Please check the flow of the waste is smooth. If
there is any clog inside the hose, it may cause damage to the main unit.

7-4 Connecting the Water Hose

Loosen the hose joint and insert the water coupling to the tap water.
Use the 3 screws and hold the water coupling to the tap water
Check the length of the water hose and cut to the right length.
After completing the connection, cut to the hose to the necessary length and dispose the
remains.
After the hose is connected, run the water to check if there is no leak.

Warning
Do not tighten the hose joint to tightly. The bucking may break and cause water leakage.

Warning
The water coupling comes with a continuous flow valve. (less than 2 liter / min) In case a
different type of water hose is used, please use this water coupling.

7-5 Power Supply


Make sure to use 220V/240V,5A ( or 110/120V , 10A)
Make sure to connect to the Type 3 ground cable.

Make sure to hold onto the plug part when pulling out the power plug. Do not pull the cord.
8. Preparation for Operation

8-1 Cleaning the Developing and Fixing Racks


Clean each of the racks with water and wipe off the dirt.
Soak each of the rack and cross over guide into a bucket of warm water. Wipe off any dirt on
the rollers and guides with a piece of cloth.

8-2 Mixing the Developing Solution


Use the attached Measuring Cup and pour 4 liter of water
Take out the Solution A and add to the 10 liter tank.
Take out the Solution B (brown bin) and add to the 10 liter tank.
The total volume should be 10 liters. Make sure to mix the solution thoroughly.

Warning
When handling the chemical solution, make sure to use rubber gloves to avoid contact with the
solution. Clean your hands thoroughly afterwards.

Both Solution A and Solution B is highly concentrated solution, and may cause crystallization
when the room temperature is cold. In case the solution is crystallized, mix the solution with
warm water and pour into the 4 liter pot.

The chemical waste needs to be collected using a waste tank and dispose it accordingly to your
the country's regulation.

8-3 Mixing the Fixing Solution

Use the attached Measuring Cup and pour 4 liters of water.


Use the A bottle and add to the 10 liter tank.
Use the B bottle and add o the 10 liter tank..
Add more water to make the total volume of 10 liters and mix the solution thoroughly.

Warning
When handling the chemical solution, make sure to use rubber gloves to avoid contact with the
solution. Clean your hands thoroughly afterwards.

If you mix the A solution with B solution, it will dissolve and become cloudy. Make sure to water
down the solution A and then mix the solution while adding the Solution B.

The chemical waste needs to be collected using a waste tank and dispose it accordingly to your
the country's regulation.

8-4 Pouring the Chemical Solution


Carefully pour each of the Developing and Fixing Solution into the racks in order using the 4L
pot. Check the solution level line and pour until the solution reaches the line. Both the
developing rack and fixing rack has a 2 liter capacity.

9. Operating Instructions

Warning
In case the fixing solution gets inside the developing rack, the final image will be effected.
Make sure to clean the developing rack to get clear image.

Both the developing and fixing solution contains a high percentage of alkali and acidic solution.
Make sure they do not get mixed up inside the unit.

8-5 Setting the Developing Rack

1) Set each racks, developing rack, fixing rack, water rack carefully in each location.
2) Slide each of the racks towards the left side until there is a stopper. The gear will hold the rack.
3) Place the Drying rack on top of the Water Rack, and the air case to the dryer exit.

Place the cross over guide to the ratchet in between each of the racks.
Check the arrow mark and place it to the same direction of the film. Listen carefully to the sound
of the gear when it connects. Make sure the cross over guide does not move.
9-1 Power Switch and Water Supply

Warning
Make sure the power plug and the earth plug are connected to avoid any power leakage.
Check inside to make sure the solution is filled. The unit may break if the power is turned on
without any solution.

9-2 Developing the Films

1) Make sure the READY lamp is lit.


2) Use 1 to 2 films for cleaning purpose everyday before start using the equipment.
3) Turn off the light inside the dark room and turn on the dark room lamp.
4) Open the lid of the film insertion, and insert the film accordingly to the left side of the film
guide. In case the width of the film is less than 8 inches, place the film in the middle of the
case.

Warning
Make sure to use the appropriate film and dark room lamp during operation.

5) After inserting the films, the READY sign will start to flash and buzzer will go off. After closing
the lid, you may turn on the light inside the dark room.
6) The READY sign will disappear when the films are inserted.
7) When the READY sign starts to flash, the next film is ready to be inserted.
8) When inserting films continuously, please follow the above instructions, 3 to 7.
9) When the operation is completed, make sure to close the water supply.

9-3 Turning off the Power

1) Turn off the main Power (OFF ).


2) Close the water supply.
3) Pull out the power plug
4) Check the below diagram and open the insertion case, lid and the top cover for better
ventilation.

Warning
If you keep the lid, film insertion case and top cover, closed it will cause damage to the top
cuver unit ,or poor image due to excessive moisture and gas.
11. Maintenance and Cleaning

After Turning on the Power


When the power is turned on, the Developing / Drying Heater, Drying Blower, Drive Motor starts
to run and each and all rollers will turn.

Temperature Control
The heaters inside the developing rack and fixing tank will control the temperature of the
developing solution. Once it reaches the temperature, the ready sign will light and the buzzer
will go off three times. In order to maintain the temperature of the developing solution, the
heater will turn on to control the temperature. The temperature of the Dryer will also stop once it
reaches the set temperature. Once the temperature drops, the temperature control will start
again.

The Film Developing and READY


Status
When the film is being processed, open the insertion case, insert the films according to the film
guide to the right. The film sensor located at the middle of the film entrance will catch (sense)
the film which triggers the READY sign, turn on the drive motor, rollers and the drying blower.
Then it will automatically transport the films. When the film sensor catches the film, this will
trigger the developing and fixing replenishing pumps to run and they will stop when the
replenishing is completed. Once the film is completely inside the unit, the READY sign will flash
and the buzzer will go off 3 times. This means that the next film can be inserted. When the last
film is inserted and the READY sign starts to light, it will take 7 minutes for the drive motor and
drying blower to go into wait mode.

For Completing the Operation,


When completing the film processing, turn off the power, take out the insertion case. Turn off
the supply.

10. Pengoperasian

11-1 Pemeriksaan Harian


Untuk menjaga peralatan dalam kondisi baik, pastikan untuk melakukan pemeliharaan dan
pembersihan secara berkala.
1) Pastikan untuk membersihkan dan memeriksa bagian penyisipan film.
a) Pastikan papan penyisipan bersih. Jika ada kotoran atau debu, pastikan untuk
membersihkan kotoran dengan menggunakan handuk atau kain basah.

Peringatan
Jikaada larutan developer yang terciprat ke dalam kotak penyisipan,maka gambar akan
terpengaruh.

B) Jika kotak penyisipan dibawa keluar, tangani dengan hati-hati karena casing dan
tutupnya akan terlepas dalam 2 bagian.
C) Setelah dibersihkan, pastikan kotak penyisipan terhubung dengan benar.
2) Memeriksa pembuangan limbah
Pastikan untuk memeriksa sisa pembuangan limbah

Peringatan
Jika Anda menggunakan tangki pembuangan ketika penuh dengan pembuangan limbah, limbah
akan bocor ke lantai.

3) Memeriksa isi ulang larutan


Pastikan untuk memeriksa jumlah isi ulang larutan
4) Memeriksa sambungan air
Pastikan untuk memeriksa tidak ada kebocoran air dari sambungan air.

11-2 Perawatan Bulanan:


Bersihkan setiap rak dan crossover.
Rendam setiap rak dan masing-masing crossover rak ke dalam air hangat dan gunakan handuk
bersih untuk menyeka kotoran (oksidasi, debu, komposisi kimia)

11-3 Mengganti Larutan Kimia


Kondisi operasi (menggunakan film pembersih dan penggunaan harian 3 film /
minggu):
Ubah larutan kimia setiap 2-3 bulan untuk menjaga kualitas kemampuan
pemrosesan. Perubahan larutan kimia secara berkala akan bervariasi
tergantung pada jumlah film yang diproses.
11-4 Pemeriksaan yang Direkomendasikan

Peralatan ini menggunakan bahan kimia dan air. Untuk menjaga kualitas satuan dalam kondisi baik, silakan
melakukan pemeriksaan keselamatan setiap tahun. Untuk rincian lebih lanjut tentang pemeriksaan
keselamatan, silakan hubungi agen penjualan / distributor lokal Anda.

12. Damage and Inspection

In case of any trouble of operation, please conduct an inspection.


If the trouble is not fixed or do not understand the inspection, please contact your local agent / distributor.

14.Bagian Pilihan

Berikut ini adalah rincian item opsional untuk ECOMAT9000

14-1 Stand
Bangun stand sendiri untuk digunakan untuk ECOMAT9000 untuk digunakan di ruangan gelap

14-2 Katup Air Solenoida


Solenoid Valve secara otomatis akan memasok air. Selama pemrosesan film, ini akan memasok
air dan ketika pemrosesan film selesai, pasokan air akan berhenti secara otomatis.
Instalasi akan membutuhkan penggantian pipa air dan ECOMAT9000.
Instruksi instalasi termasuk dalam unit katup solenoid. Silakan lihat instruksi dari katup solenoid.

14-3 Kit Penyaringan Air


Filter air dapat dipasang ketika kualitas air tidak baik. Disarankan untuk memasang filter air
bersama dengan katup solenoid. Anda perlu mengganti pipa air. Silakan lihat instruksi di dalam
unit filter air.

14-4 Unit Pompa Air


Jika tidak ada pasokan air, ini digunakan untuk memasok air. Tuangkan 20 liter air ke dalam
tangki dan gunakan air untuk mengisi air dari tangki air. Silakan ganti air tangki setelah 20-30
film olahan. Untuk pemasangan, silakan lihat instruksi di dalam unit pompa air.

15. Garansi dan Setelah Service

1. Setelah layanan
Jika ada masalah, silakan lihat halaman 22 Kerusakan dan Inspeksi. Hubungi agen / distributor
setempat Anda untuk instruksi lebih lanjut dan laporkan hal-hal berikut:
1) detail kerusakan (masalah)
2) nama model (ECOMAT 9000)
3) Tanggal pemasangan
4) Nomor seri peralatan
2. ECOMAT9000 diperiksa secara menyeluruh sebelum dikirim. Pastikan untuk menyimpan kartu
garansi dengan peralatan.
3. Setelah penggunaan normal peralatan, masa garansi 1 tahun setelah instalasi.
4. Garansi tidak berlaku jika peralatan tidak digunakan dengan benar.
5. Setiap penggantian atau biaya layanan setelah masa garansi akan dikenakan biaya. Silakan
hubungi agen / distributor lokal Anda untuk lebih jelasnya.
6. Pasokan suku cadang yang direkomendasikan akan dihentikan 7 tahun setelah pengumuman
penghentian. Namun, bahkan setelah 7 tahun pengumuman, masalah dapat diperbaiki. Sebaiknya
hubungi agen / distributor lokal Anda dalam hal demikian.
