FINDING

In first objective, we choose 5 questions from the questionnaire which is 5 questions


from 22 majority agreed on our objectives also we give the reason and discussion for
each question.

1) Do you agree longer time period in class can lead to boredom?

REASON

- The reason why we choose this question because as a student, there is so much
subjects need to be learned rather than one subject only. In addition, too much times spent
on just one subject can affected to other subject after the session been held.

DISCUSSION

The excitement of students to learn will reduced because they have to spent more
time on one subject like theoretical subject. The student has to face the continuous
learning process which can lead to an exhausted brain, which causing boredom and sleepy
environment.
2) Do you agree that good atmosphere in a class can make the lecturer deliver a good
lecture?

REASON

The factor that lead us to choose this question is that the great surrounding in the
class can create more communication between the lecturer and the students as a warm
atmosphere can grab the attention of the students to be focus more on the studies.

DISCUSSION

When the lecturer has grabbed the attention of the students, he/she will be more
enthusiastic on delivering the input as he/she knows that the students will give a total
concentration on the lecture.
3) Does good atmosphere in a class will make you study better?

REASON

The reason why we choose this question is not only the lecturer need a nice
atmosphere to conduct a lecture, the student also need it as it will boost their thinking
process throughout the lecture period.

DISCUSSION

A good atmosphere not just only a warm communication between the lecturer and
students, it also regarding the condition of the class or hall where the lecture been held. A
nice environment will not only make students to be more comfortable in receiving the
information, it also enhancing the brain to solve critical thinking problems.
4) Do you agree that by having studies goals will help you to improve your performance
in class?

We chose this question because some students were leading away from their
original studies goals as when they get through to another semester, they get bored with
all the assignments and other course work and lead them to the procrastination and affect
their behaviour in studies.

DISCUSSION

By having the studies goals, the student will have improvement because it will
boost their confidence as well as it will become the spirit burner to them in order to
achieve a great result in studies.
5) Do the studies goals can improve your result in examination?

We picked this question because mostly, the student only aimed to just get passed
for their examination, not to achieve higher grades and performed during the examination.

DISCUSSION

During the examination, not only the information during the lecture process will help
the student to passed the examination with flying colours, it also the objective or the goals
that has been set up by the student that will help the student to more eager to complete their
studies successfully.
In second objective, we also choose 5 questions from the questionnaire which is 5

REASON

The reason we chose this question is everything that students need to pass their
examination are inside the classroom during the learning process. Whether it is in
theoretically or practically learning process, it is what the student needed to at least pass
the examination.

DISCUSSION

The information and input in the class is a vital thing as the information was given
and learned by the student to test their acknowledgement throughout the lecture was held
in the semester.
2) Be focus in class while the lecturer is teaching is the best way for students to be
successful.

We picked this question because as we know be focus during the lecture session is
important, but still a lot of student do not give their total concentration because of other
distraction in class.

DISCUSSION

During the learning process, the students need to know the manners and have to
respect the lecturer during the lecture session. Pay attention to the lecturer is the best way
of manners and to be successful as the lecturer being the medium in order to teach the
student regarding the subject.
3) Pressure in study can affect the student health?

REASON

The reason that lead us to pick this question is almost all the students seems been
pressured by all the assignment and subjects that they took during the semester. They
looked messy and cannot arranged their time completely in order to catch up with the
pressure from the studies.

DISCUSSION

Being pressurized during the studies is really dangerous to the students not only
affected their health, it also influenced their life. As we know, too much pressure can lead
into something bad like depression and brain damage due to lack of rest. The brain will
get too much exhausted and make their body immune and health distorted.
4) It is important to care about the study pressure in term of student lifestyle.

We chose the question because not only the student gets involved in the study
pressure, the lecturers too. The learning process will have influenced the student lifestyle
whether it is good or bad.

DISCUSSION

The pressure that been faced by the student can affected their lifestyle as it can
bring harm to the students when they get too much pressurized from studies. This thing
can drop their moral down and lost the spirit to complete their study in the nick of time.
5) Student should have sufficient rest time after exhausted in the class.

REASON

We took this question because students must get involved with other curricular
activities outside the learning process, it makes the students tired after participating too much
activities. After working their brains on the class, they have to give their physical energy on
the outdoor curricular activities.

DISCUSSION

The students need their own time for their own activities such as resting to get
recharge after facing an exhausted day on the class. They need something and time to get
relaxed to refresh their mind and soul so they can be more excited and feel energized to
participate on the next class.
CONCLUSION

Objective 1: As a conclusion for objective 1, the effect of longer class period on students
performance and attendance is very important to all of students especially in UniKL MIMET.
A shorter class period will change the perceptions of students to be more enthusiastic during
the class session and they can more focus in the classroom. Besides, it also reduces the
percentage of attendance to the class because of short term period has implemented in UniKL
MIMET. Furthermore, by doing the shorter class period, the learning time process in the class
can be used effectively as a strategy for improving the performance of the students.

Objective 2: In conclusion, the importance of shorter class period to the student in UniKL
MIMET for example when the students receive too much pressure that can lead into
something bad like depression and brain damage due to lack of rest is really dangerous to the
students not only affected their health, it also influenced their life. As a student, trying to
avoid this happens every time in the classroom so that we can be a student who can receive
knowledge without any pressure.
