There are no feedbacks in each phase of the There are feedbacks from user for each part of

If project needs to be done under Waterfall The requirements of the project need not be
Model then the requirements of the project known before hand in this case
need to be known before the project is started
The different phases of project development The different phases of the project are
such as design and developing are completed completed in iterative times by obtaining
only once here feedback from the user
In Waterfall Model the Testing Phase is carried In Agile Model the testing phase is carried in
out after the Build Phase the same phase as that of development

2) Pros of Waterfall Model :

It is easy to understand and use

Each Phase needs to be completed before the previous phase and hence the errors can be corrected
accordingly.

The output provides more visibility on how far the development of project has gone through

The project can be completed within stipulated deadline since work is divided across various phases

Cons of Waterfall Mode :

It is not dynamic and doesn’t change to environment as with the case of agile projects. Hence
requirements cant be changed in middle

Its not possible to change the hardware and software since requirements are gathered in the
beginning
