1. Air Space Threats
The mainly used of drones may contributes to flown dangerously close to commercial
aircraft, violating federal rules about their operation. According to statistic there are more
than 650 pilot have reported seeing unmanned aircraft as of 9 Aug 2015 compared to a
total of 238 such sightings for all of 2014. The bigger problems lead up to how this drones
possible to bring down an airplane. Because drone’s autopilot modes fly according to a
precisely predefined flight, it wouldn’t be overly difficult for a drone operator to position a
drone right in the middle of flight path.

2. Vehicles for weapons

Think of any light to medium type of weight weapon and it can probably be attached to a
drone. There are already videos of drones with chainsaws, machine guns and
flamethrowers attached. A prankster or terrorist could have havoc with even the simplest
weapons. Imagine the reaction if a drone hovered above a popular sporting event,
sprinkling unknown white powder over the crowd. A stunt like this would cause panic
situations because we don’t know what the substances was.

3. Crowded Skies

The corporate sector, especially the big delivery and service companies, already has big
plans for turning drone technology into new sources of revenue. Amazon has announced
its “Prime Air”, a delivery system it says will eventually allow the company to safely get
packages into customers’ hand in 30 minutes or less using only drones. DHL parcels and
Google also launched the same things as Amazon in delivery service with autonomous
drone fights to delivers an urgently needed goods to the local community. Experts says
the major issue for these companies is the current lag time between drone technologies
and official policies about drone usage. In the near future, there will be regulations that
will prohibit drone flights in cities and crowded areas. Beyond those bans, we will see the
growth in the drone services industry and drone technologies and it will not stop growing.
4. Collisions

There are have been a handful of reports of serious injuries from lightweight drones
colliding into people. But collisions between 50-pound commercial drones could be
proved fatal, based on a recent article from Bloomberg that summarized the results of
drone research involving crash-test dummies. Worst case scenario when operating a
large, multi-rotor aircraft in really close proximity to people and treating it as if it is a toy
then its asking for some pretty severe outcomes.

5. The difficulty of enforcing the rules

Authorities are attempting to crack down on drones flying in sensitive area such as near
airports or crowded sporting events. For example, at the sporting events, they set up a
34.5-mile radius of “no-drone zone” around the stadium. But the problem is that such no-
fly zone is difficult to enforce, Radar has a hard time picking up drones, making it easy
for some random guy in his backyard or in the back of truck to fly a drone into a sensitive
airspace undetected. What will happen if a kids goes out and flies a drone near an airport?
Do you prosecute the child, the parents?

6. Drone-based hacking

Drones also open up an array of new avenues for hackers. Not only can drones be hacked
in flight, causing them to crash, the craft also can be used for stealing sensitive
information from the public. It would not be hard for a drone to hover a 150 feet above a
park, broadcast a WiFi signal overhead, and then grab sensitive information from anyone
using the network.
