Dear Atty. Gimenez,

I am writing this letter with the intention of being accepted as member of the PUP COL
– Office of the Legal Aid. I am currently a third year student of PUP College of Law. I
have been fortunate to take part in the previous activities of your esteemed organization
and acquainted with its members and advocacies. With that in mind, I intend to
continually participate and support its forthcoming projects in providing legal assistance
and creating an avenue for marginalized sector to understand the law.

Moreover, as a third year law student, I believe joining PUP COL - OLA will help me
not only be a better law student, but be a better lawyer in the future, who understands
the problems or hurdles pertinent to the application of laws in the community, in its
grassroots.

Should I be approved, I promise my active participation in all activities of PUP COL -

OLA and to carry out its interest and objectives to the best of my abilities. I look forward
