sabor a chocolate suave.

The Open House Polo Restaurant

(Name/location)
The ‘Open House’ is a restaurant situated in the
heart of a small village between three national
forests and close to the horse´s capital city, Chantilly.
It is the favourite hangout place for people from the
polo, horse races, and golf world.
(Atmosphere/decor)
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a
magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique
cut stones and the luxuries of modernity. Sitting in
any table you have a wonderful view of the
workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chefs
working. For those who do not book a table and are
waiting, there is a cosy lounge with aged leather
armchairs and pictures of polo players displayed on
the walls.
(The menu/dishes)
The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering
starters. I had the white asparagus accompanied by
a mousseline sauce and poached eggs, while my
friend tried the zucchini carpaccio served with
sundries tomatoes and a mozzarella strudel. They
were exquisite. The main course consisted of a
risotto with scallop cooked in cream and a cassolette
of coley with mussels, which really thrilled us. It all
was followed by a delicious apple pie served with a
scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
(The ingredients/the wine/the prices)
All the products were fresh and the dishes had the
warmth of home-made food. The chefs take great
care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The
restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a
large selection of the best wines of the region, which
are pricy but worth sampling.
(The service/the waiters/the owner)
What a pity that the service does not accompany the
high quality of the cooking. You can hardly get a
smile out of the waitresses. Thankfully the owner and
hostess, a middle-aged charming woman, is always
around willing to exchange some kind words with all
her clients.
(Recommendation)
Despite the high price of the food and the not so
attentive waiters´ service, I had a pleasant dining
experience with food of the most exquisite flavours.
For this reason I highly recommend going to the
Open House Polo restaurant.

he titanic

The film Titanic is a romance starring Leonardo Dicaprio as Jack Dawson, Kate Dindel
as Rose De Witt anda Billy Zane as Cal Hackley. It is about fictional romantic tale of a
rich girl and poor boy who meet on the ill-fated voyage of the 'unsinkable' ship.

The film takes place between Iceland and New York, and occurred in April 14, 1912.

An old lady who claims to be a survivor of the Titanic tells her story to an eager group
of treasure hunters, who are in search of a rare diamond in the Titanic's wreckage.
Her name is Rose and she was a passenger on the Titanic along with the star, Jack. The
two meet and Rose, unhappy with her arranged marriage Jack, a young artist, who
struggles to get through with life spends time with her and the two fall in love. Then the
ship hits an iceberg and Jack is framed for theft and chained up in the lower levels of the
ship. Finally the ship sinks on April 15th, 1912 at 2:20 in the morning, Jack dies and
Rose survives

In my opinion, this movie is one of the best movies because is not just an ordinary tale
of Romance. It is more than that. It is full of adventure. The best of the film is when
they make love, and the worst is when Jake dies. I recommended you to see it because is
a beautiful and romantic film.

A restaurant review
(Sent by Alejandro Rubio Luque, a student from Málaga, Spain)

One of my favourite restaurants is El Refectorium. It is located just behind the popular

Malaga bullring, in the zone called La Malagueta. It's the best traditional Mediterranean
cuisine restaurant in my town.
This establishment is quite small so reservations are recommended on weekends and at
bullfights. The old-fashioned furniture makes the atmosphere very cosy. The waiters
always seem to be in high spirits and they are really kind to the customers.

As you come into the restaurant, you see the tables and a bar where you can have some
"tapas", like anchovies in vinegar as well as the well-known Salad Olivier (or more
commonly, and incorrectly, called with the term Russian salad in other countries).

In my opinion, every dish you order will be tasty. One thing you shouldn't leave without
trying is "gazpachuelo", a soup with potatoes, fish and seafood. You can also enjoy
eating fresh fish. As for the desserts, the one I like most is the "profiteroles", a
chocolate-flavoured cake with cream; it's particularly delicious.

Even though it's rather an expensive restaurant, I recommend it because of the high
quality of all their products. I have no doubt that you will be satisfied.

My favorite website is Facebook (1)

Facebook is a very popular social networking service which has millions of users all
over the world. (2)
To access this website you must first register. Once you are in you may create a profile,
add friends, upload photos or videos, play online games, write about what you're doing,
and many more things. (3)
There are three reasons why I would recommend Facebook. The first reason is that you
can be in contact with friends that you would otherwise seldom see. If they are
connected you can communicate real time.(4)

The second reason is because you can share things with friends and family. I personally
love to share photos, opinions about places I have visited, or films I have seen. More
sharing means more engagement with people and groups of interest. I've had some
interesting online discussions.(5) And, the last reason is that it helps you to write the
story of your life.(6)
So if you haven't joined it yet, I would highly recommend you to do so, especially if you
like to be in touch with your friends and like sharing things like I do. (7)
