Mike,  
   
I  have  to  take  a  moment  to  express  my  extreme  disappointment  at  
your  handling  of  Valerie's  decision  to  take  the  LG  slot.    Instead  of  
suggesting  that  the  three  of  us  get  on  a  call  together  to  develop  a  
transition  plan  -­‐  which  would  ensure  that  the  funders  relationships  
Valerie  has  been  cultivating  could  be  transitioned  to  the  region  -­‐  you  
instead  made  a  decision  without  ever  considering  the  impact  on  
MD/DC.  
   
I  realize  that  we  do  not  have  regular  communications,  but  as  the  state  
director  who  built  the  Maryland  organization  that  put  Working  
Families  on  the  map,  I  feel  that  I  deserve  more  consideration.  My  
concern  is  not  what  one  campaign  wants  or  demands,  I  am  concerned  
with  the  long  term  survival  of  the  organization  and  its  
reputation.    From  my  perspective,  its  clear  that  I  am  the  only  one  who  
has  these  concerns.
