truly been changed after attending and want
to encourage everyone to go in the future,
you will not regret it. It is our job as
Christians so serve others and stand up for

Although the abortion law will
take a very long time to lift, it is
our job as Christians to stand up
and speak for those children
that so sadly had their lives
stripped from them.
 Roe v. Wade
Roe v. Wade was the landmark decision in
1973 made by the United States Supreme
Court which legalized abortion nationwide.
After this decision was made, pro-life
movements began and the march for life
began as a small demonstration but rapidly
grew to the event that it is today.
Pro life marchers march every year in
hopes to get the law changed and make
abortion illegal in the United States.
How CWNC got involved
Here are Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic
we were given the opportunity to go to
Washington DC to participate in the
March that was Held on January 16,
2018. Me, along with a large amount of
other students, teachers, and faculty
hopped onto coach busses and headed
towards Washing D.C. We left on a
Thursday from school and arrived in D.C
later that night. We stayed at a church
and slept over. On Friday morning we
woke up and drove to an arena where we
were with many other schools and
organizations. Directly proceeding the
church service, we took to the streets and
got in the starting lineup to begin the
march. We marched all the way to the
supreme court. Many people held
banners, signs, and were standing up and
protesting for what they believe in.
March For Life
What is it?
The March for Life is a rally that protests
the action and legality of abortion. The
March for life occurs annually and is held in
Washington D.C. Pro-life people from
around the world gather and unite to
communicate the message to the nation,
media and the government that life is
precious, powerful and should be protected
from the first moment of conception. Many
people all over the United States gather at
the capital each year to stand up for what
they believe and give a voice to the children
that can not.
