1.0 CCTV
 Integration with CCTV and expansion of the
base building security system is to be available
to accommodate the fit-out design
requirements.
 The presence of security cameras raises the
overall level of security and gives civilians the
confidence that unwelcome behavior won’t
be tolerated.
 Security cameras can capture instances of
employee theft and another improper
conduct by civilians.
 Security cameras monitor the premises for
suspect behavior and can help to curtail
unfortunate criminal acts such as kidnappings,
fights, and violent outbursts, etc.
 Digital IP CCTV cameras shall be fixed color
type, with split screen capacity and a digital
hard disc-recording device and will be located
to monitor all the required areas in the city.
 Security cameras enable you to record
footage, providing investigators with valuable
images of specific incidents and suspects in
question.
 Cameras shall be robust for exterior use as
necessary.
 Cameras recording to be activated by motion
detectors.
 The security system shall be capable of remote
monitoring by an independent security
personal.
 A local UPS will support the main system and
incorporate internal batteries.
 The security system head end unit shall be
positioned in the IT room of Municipality office.
 All CCTV system shall be connected via
Optical Fiber Cable whose head end shall be
located were required.
 Movable & Zoom able (PTZ) cameras will be
provided at necessary locations to monitor any
kind of mischievous activity in details.
 Ten (10) required locations will be figured out
where 4 outdoor cameras will be placed
facing all the four directions of the road along
with a PTZ camera in the center to monitor
every movement when needed.

2.0 OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

 Optical Fiber cable will be laid across the city
connecting all the ward offices, schools,
health post and other the locations for CCTV.
 Entire map will be planned and the drawing
of wiring will be given after the competitions
of project.
 6 core Optical fiber cable with messenger
(GYXTC-8Y) will be used as the cable is of
high endurance that avoids it to be cut easily
and can be laid for long distance poles due
to its extra support.
 Optical Fiber Cable allows to reduce any
kind of data loss and network gap between
two points.

3.0 Biometric Attendance Machine

 Biometric Attendance machine will be
installed in all the government offices and
schools which comes under the control of
Hanumannagar Municipality.
 Biometric attendance machine will be
centrally controlled and reports of multiple
cases and desired format can be issued in all
locations.
 Each of the device will be connected
through Optical Fiber Cable and servers for
the device will be located at the IT room of
municipality office.
 User will be allowed to do his attendance in
any of 45 locations where the device will be
installed.

4.0 Wireless Network

 A Wifi router will be installed in all 45 locations
for the users of each government offices to
have access to internet.
 Internet will be provided in all the
government offices and outdoor access
point through Optical Fiber Cable.
 Wireless Access Point will be installed in 10
major locations for the civilians to have
access to wireless network for connectivity to
internet.
 A device will be installed to control internet
usage and speed in any of the desired
location.
 Security layers will be added to the network
to avoid any kind of miss use or illegal
hacking and gaining of confidential data of
any other user in the same network.
 Security of all the personal data of user will
be given priority.
APPENDIX A

Concept Plan

 United Solutions Private Limited will plan and

design the whole network for distribution of
internet, access to CCTV on the major
locations throughout the city and all
government office. Biometric Attendance
machine will be connected to the same
network that will enable all government
officials to get their attendance done in any of
the government office.
 The Optical fiber cable used shall be the core
of the entire network planned and future
advancement will be considered to avoid any
technology gap.
 Addition of CCTV or any other networking
device will be under the plan to avoid any kind
of glitch in the future.
 IT room will be set up in the main building of the
municipality office to store all the head end
devices safely and under the guidance of a
trained IT technician.
APPENDIX B

Innovation
 All wiring will be done under trained wiring
experts having experience or at least 15 years
or experience in the field to assure quality
works and prevent any loss in data in the future
usage.
 The setup to be installed will be done using the
latest technology under professional
technicians considering any advancement in
upgrade in future technology to avoid any
glitch or gap in the products installed and the
future in technology of the field.
 The entire set up will be done in the technology
called FTTH which is being used by majority of
the ISP’s nationally and internationally.
 All products will be used according to the user
requirements to ensure future scope of usage
of the same device.
 Majority of the products will be of the brand
DIGICOM which is a renowned company in
Nepal.
 DIGICOM has actively participated in national
projects including SAARC summit and NCELL.
