Beeja sphuta is obtained by adding the longitude of Sun, Venus and Jupiter in the
husband's chart. The sum indicates a sign and
its Navamsa. If both of these are in odd signs, virility is present and the chances
of an offspring are good. If both are in
even signs, virility and the chance of progeny are both absent.
If one is odd and the other is even, the progeny may be delayed.
Kshetra sphuta is worked out by adding the longitudes of Jupiter, Moon and Mars in
the wife's natal chart. If the sign
and Navamsa thus obtained are both in even signs, fertility and chances of progeny
are assured. In case both are in odd signs,
the progeny will be delayed or even denied. If one is odd and the other is even,
there may be a delay but the progeny can be
expected.

When the Beeja (male) is weak and Kshetra (female) is strong, then children may
be born late in the life after undertaking the necessary remedial measures. The
strength to cause pregnancy is controlled by the Sun lord of vitality in
general. Venus governs the seminal fluid. These two must have favourable
positions in the horoscope particularly in odd signs. Similarly, in the case of
a female, Mars governs the nature of blood and the Moon
controls the strength to bear children. These two planets should preferably
occupy even signs.
If this Tithi is one of the chhidra tithis (4th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 14th) or
Amavasya, then there is a problem.

6) Further ownership of Rasi, benefic conjucntions and aspects strengthen the beej
and malefics weaken the beeja.
10) Malefics ( Ra-Ke, Ma and Sat) are reportedly going to reduce the potency /
fertility.
My test cases show Ra-Ket probably are generally adverse.....for Sat and Mar my
suggestion is to look closely as to how good or bad they are overall in natives
chart.
11)One other theory is if the Kshetra falls in the house of sun or conjunct or
aspected by it's direct rays....it's fertility is burnt ( equivalent of
combustion).......I am not sure and haven't been able to validate this pasrt.
12) The Beeja and Kshetra sphuta must be used in conjunction with the 5th house/
Jup-the-karak and D7 analysis as an addtional tool for indepth inidctaion and
validation of fertility/ conception matters and not standalone.
13) Rasi chart is the best and first place to start......various commnentaries
recommend repeating it in Navamsa / and/ or Saptamsa.
I am more inclined to look at it in saptamsa if time permits, although Rasi has
generally been suificient to get additional indicators.

--whihc means the kshetra sphuta gets planted at 0deg17' in Leo, conjunct with Sun
and Ketu and in an odd sign...all indicators of low fertility.
--She had polycystic ovaries, and concieved after several years of trying...throuhg
IUI at a very late age of 35.
--convenstional analysis shows 5th lord in Rasi Mars combust and conjunct with
Ketu.... and Shani debilitated in the 5th house...further making conception and
delivery difficult.
1) her husbands very strong chart w.r.t 5th house (lorded by Jupiter in his own
house and a high amsabala)
2)and woman's own Venus is very very strong ( in own house in 11th and an amasabala
of 6) indicating the robustness of internal female organs.

Why not try testing this out with me? I dont have kids because I never wanted any-
but I was normally fertile inasmuch as I have never had any reproductive issues
that I know of. Of course-if there were problems I would never have known.....Now
post menopause-SO glad!! DOB February 17 1955, 5:55 pm (your rectified TOB),
Mumbai. I'd be curious to know what your result is. Thanks!
