The Industrial Revolution changed the way people thought and viewed things. The
Industrial Revolution affected the lives of the Europeans in both a positive and negative way.
The Industrial Revolution was a time of change, whether it was a positive or negative affect.
The Industrial Revolution started when people began to focus more on agriculture and
inventions that made everything efficient, which made people join the workforce. The Industrial
Revolution was a positive effect on Europeans because it allowed them to work, gain wealth, and
discover new things. Because of the Industrial Revolution, more factories were being built and
more jobs were being offered, this allowed cities to grow. The Industrial Revolution allowed
women to change their perspectives. Women began to fight for their rights. Women were
empowered and felt that their rights should be the same as men. The Industrial Revolution made
government set up schools for children because they wanted citizens to gain knowledge. The
Industrial Revolution changed peoples’ lives and their health. Discoveries in science saved many
lives, pasteurization helped foods last longer and the cause of tuberculosis was discovered. The
Industrial Revolution was a positive effect because Europeans found ways to make their
some negative effects. For instance, urbanization caused and increase in population, which made
people live in tenements. These building had health risks, like diseases. Because so many
factories were being built, so many people began to work, from small children to women, and
men. The conditions in the factory were terrible and made people work for long hours.
Overall, the Industrial Revolution made a big impact on the lives of the Europeans. The
