Business Analyst

 Business requirements gathering and documentation through scoping workshops, interviews


and other methods.
 Business process re-engineering and documentation of the as is and to be business
processes as well as preparing business requirements documents
 Liaising with business, project managers and information technology stakeholders to plan
for implementing new solutions in line with business requirements
 Identifying inefficiencies and champion continuous improvement as well as give input into
process improvements
 Addressing the people-side of change, and use a set of tools to help the organization and its
people transition from a current state to a sustainable target state.
 Developing and implementing training plans that helps business to adapt to change and
transition to new ways of doing things and adopt changed processes, products, and technologies
 Identifying risks introduced by changes and coming up with effective risk response plans
 Managing changes to requirements through the requirement change control processes
 Liaising with the business stakeholders and developers regarding requirements for new or
improved functionality
 Documenting process and system solutions and coordinating with stakeholders for
agreement on final design of solutions
 Developing testing scenarios and coordinating user acceptance testing with business
stakeholders
 Effectively communicating requirement priorities and progress of implementation with
business stakeholders
 Ensuring that production support for systems is effectively and timeously addressed
