the meditation of Psalm 46, which expresses
thanks for the deliverance of Jerusalem, the

The day’s morning devotion was led by

Bro James Tan from Psalm 77 and was simply
entitled “Remember.” He referred us to
Lamentations 3:21 and quoted a portion of
Charles Spurgeon’s morning and evening
devotional book. Having pointed out that
memories are important and they affect our
thinking and who we are, he encouraged us to
know that remembering the Lord is a solution
to our troubles. In this Psalm, in the day of
trouble, the Psalmist sought the Lord for help.
Yet, even when the Psalmist did so, he was
still troubled and his spirit was still
overwhelmed. Verse 11 gives us the solution –

will remember thy wonders of old.” An account of For the night message, Bro Joshua
