Teacher’s instructions
• Introduce the topic of vacation with a warm up activity to review the previous vocabulary
students know about vacation. Ask your students to work alone, in pairs or small groups.
Then, monitor their tasks and encourage all attempts at the development of
communicative skill through the following procedure:
Warm up activities:
1. Ask students to work in pairs to describe what they see in each image. Draw their
attention to the vocabulary given in a box so that they can label the pictures
2. Tell students to work in their own to classify different word about vacation into
categories.
3. Organize the class in pairs and ask students to answer orally some questions related
with the pictures.
4. Ask students to write five things you need to remember before you go on vacation.
