The Joint Venture, thru, Mr. Afuang requested for the list of long lead
items for the immediate submission of approval of material sample in
which the Panel Boards, Transformer, Cables and Wires and High Bay
Light is a part of.
BSP reminded the Joint Venture about long lead items but the Joint
Venture informed that they are still looking for possible suppliers
The Joint Venture will follow up the tools and equipment needed for
rough-ins.
The Joint Venture will give update for the Shop Drawing of panel
board and transformer on 10 August 2017
The Joint Venture will give material sample/brochure for the High Bay
Light on 10 August 2017
The Joint Venture will give material sample/brochure for BMS on 10
August 2017
The Joint Venture will give material sample/brochure for PVC Pipes on
10 August 2017
BSP instructed the Joint Venture to submit submittals required by the
Consultant including the qualifications of the Installer per Terms of
Reference and Contractor's Certificate of Accreditation from Simplex
The Joint Venture will follow up the tools and equipment needed for
rough-ins.
No need for cost proposal of the relocation of SITD Panel Board and
Transformer from the Joint Venture. The Joint Venture will submit
methodology for the transfer of the said items. BSP will verify for the
availability of thre transformer that will be used for the relocation.

There was no update as to when will the Shop Drawing/Brochure be
submitted by the Joint Venture for BMS
The Joint Venture will give material sample/brochure for the PVC Pipe
for electrical conduit on 11 August 2017
The venture will schedule site inspection for FDAS installed at the
Bldg. C Basement and will also submit the necessary submittals for
the said items.
The Joint Venture will follow up the tools and equipment needed for
rough-ins.
The Joint Venture confirmed that they can relocate and install the
Supply of the SITD from Friday afternoon to Sunday
If the aHigh Bay Lights (Lighting Fixtures) to be used is 220V, the
primary side of the transdormer shall have a circuit breaker

There was no update as to when will the Shop Drawing/Brochure be
submitted by the Joint Venture for BMS
Per Engr. Julius, they where already requested for the assistance of
the Joint Venture to hire an Electrical Engineer but still failed to hire
one.
The Joint Venture shall submit the shop drawing for panel boards and
transformer for the Approval of Material Sample as instructed by BSP.
The tools for electrical rouch-ins are for delivery as declared by the
Joint Venture but no apparent date.
Relocation schedule of the Electrical Supply for SITD shall be
announced by both parties and the Joint Venture shall submit a
request letter before the said schedule
The Joint Venture committed to give an update regarding the Lighting
Fixtures on 25 August 2017 (update will be coming from Engr. Julius
Santiago)
The Joint Venture submitted the said shop drawing for Panel Board
and Transformer to BSP dated 24 August 2017 for evaluation and
approval of BSP
BSP and the Joint Venture have agreed upon the change of specs on
the lighting fixtures from 277 volts to 230 volts with a provided
transformer at no additional cost. Hence, the Joint Venture c/o Mr.
Afuang, committed to submit material approval sample on 08
September 2018.

approval sample of BMS on 08 September 2018
The Joint Venture will resubmit the shop drawing of the panel boards
and be guided on the comments and other requirement stated on the
submittal
The Joint Venture will provide an Electrical Engineer on site per Issued
ITC No. 33.
Inspection for FDAS shall push thru with the presence of the approved
site engineer and submission of complete documents prior.
The Joint Venture c/o Engr. Julius Santiago will submit a proposed
Load schedule for lighting panel boards & transformers due to
changes of system voltage which is from 277 Volts to 230 Volts.
The Joint Venture will resubmit the shop drawing of the panel boards
and be guided on the comments and other requirement stated on the
submittal c/o Engr. Julius Santiago
BSP will evaluate the submitted proposed load schedules for lighting
panelboards & transformers for a newly system voltage which is 230
Volts.
The Joint Venture will review the proposal of BSP regarding the
installer of devices will be the accredited company of simplex which is
Multiline, a current contractor of BSP for the current rehabilitation of
FDAS
The Joint Venture submitted the single line diagram for the revised
277V to 230V System (lighting).
The Joint Venture is instructed to submit proposed orientation of
components, sizes of the transformer, and costing for the new design
which are necessary to verify if the proposed 277V to 230V will fit the
electrical room.
BSP also suggested to use its own cost-efficient design, which will be
provided to the Joint Venture for review and consideration.
Consequently, Joint Venture shall still submit a final design,
orientation, layout, sizes and costing of components for BSP approval.
BSP reminded the Joint Venture that any changes should not affect
the schedule of submission of material samples for the original and
unchanged scopes.
BSP instructed that there are other panel board not affected by the
changes in voltage rating
BSP has no feedback yet from Guevarra & Partners Inc. for the
approval of BMS
The Joint Venture mentioned that they have already submitted their
requirements with Multiline. Multiline has submitted their offer to the
Joint Venture and pending the review of Engr. Rico Garcia and Mr.
Afuang
The Joint Venture has not submitted shop drawings for the proposed
route of the feeder line
BSP reminded the Joint Venture that there are other panel boards
that are still pending for submission and approval.
Guevarra & Partners Inc. (GPI) already approved the material sample
and transitted the materials approval form to the Joint Venture on 27
Oct 2017. BSP advised the Joint Venture the proper inspection prior
to procurement of materials
The Joint Venture has no feedback yet from the proposal of Multiline.
BSP advised the Joint Venture to secure a certification that the service
provider is accredited by Simplex
The Joint Venture expects that electrical works will now push thru and
will be expedited with the entry of their newly approved Electrical
Engineer. The key expert is committed to finish all shop drawings and
material requirements within one month and will focus on supervision
thereafter.
The Joint Venture also committed to submit the request for material
approval for electrical fixtures, parts, and other accessories in one to
two weeks. BSP reminded the Joint Venture that high bay lightings
should be UL844 compliant.
The Joint Venture mentioned that there is 6-8 weeks lead time for the
BMS. BSP then advised the Joint Venture to expedite the PO and
order the wires and conduits beforehand.

BSP and the Joint Venture shall discuss the issue regarding the
electrical feeder lines and FDAS Panel board for Bldg. C Basement
Area.

schedule of submission of the approval of material samples for
electrical items.
• Transformers – December 2017
• High Bay Lights – Engr. Santiago said that Joint Venture will submit a
proposal to just paint the enclosures with acid proofing to comply
with the specs.
• Panel Boards – submitted for approval on 05 December 2017.
• Switches – Request to be submitted after the meeting.
• Wires and Cables – Approved. Joint Venture was advised to submit
the shop drawings.
• Conduits – Approved. Joint Venture was advised to submit the shop
drawings.
• FDAS – Approved. Joint Venture was advised to submit the shop
drawings.
• BMS – Engr. Santiago discussed that the PO did not push through
and the Joint Venture is back negotiating for this item.
• Public Address – Approved.
• BMS Points – Engr Santiago committed to submit the request on 14
December 2017.
Engr. Reynaldo Santiago also mentioned that the Joint Venture will
submit comments and proposed revisions on the electrical plans on
12 December 2017.

Engr. Santiago asked if BSP can provide window hours for the
inspection and installation of electrical works. BSP will verify with the
end users if they can provide the requested window hours.
Work permit for loading and unloading bay was approved (with
schedule). BSP will issue longer duration in the next permit.
Engr. Santiago will submit their proposal for the 2 smoke detectors for
the 2 level hallways (high and low ceilings) on Monday, 22 January
2018 including its unit cost.
Work permit - BSP will issue an ITC clarifying that the Electrical Team
can work on site within the allowable time.
Electrical queries – Engr. Santiago will submit a clarification regarding
bass bar, tapping point, pipe sizes, load schedules, etc.
Engr. Santiago will submit their proposal for the 2 smoke detectors for
the 2 level hallways (high and low ceilings) on Monday, 22 January
2018 including its unit cost.
BSP reported that BSP already issued an ITC stating that the original
design (i.e. 1 smoke detector at lower level ceiling) will be followed.
BSP informed the Joint Venture that they should send a formal letter
of request for the equipment layout.
BSP confirmed that all of the toilets have Hand dryers except on C5
area.
BSP advised the Joint Venture to submit the shop drawings of the
feeder lines prior to the meeting with BSP-SITD about the relocation
of CCTV cameras.
Arch. JM Afuang discussed the following updates for the electrical
works:
• Transformers – The Joint Venture submitted its cost proposal to BSP
on 01 March 2018.
• Panel Boards – The Joint Venture submitted its cost proposal to BSP
on 01 March 2018.
• High Bay Lights – Arch. Afuang reported that they are waiting for
China to open again after the month-long Chinese New Year holidays
so they can continue with the purchasing and delivery. Target delivery
is 30-60 days after payment.
• Outlets – PO still on process. Item is locally available
• BMS – PO still on process.
• Public Address – PO still on process.
• Lighting Fixture – Joint Venture has yet to submit the following
items: tube light (enclosed & industrial),flood light, emergency light,
exit light, and led directional stairs

The Joint Venture submitted UCD for the Electrical will be discussed
with BSP.
a. The submitted UCD for the Electrical should have been discussed by
Joint Venture with BSP few weeks ago.
b. However, the Joint Venture does not yet have an Electrical Engineer
since February, therefore could not provide a commitment on the
cost.
c. Electrical Engineer is a requirement in the contract.
d. Engr. Joson ordered to expedite the reconciliation of the items and
cost.
