ABSTRAK

Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : bagaimana pengaruh


motivasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai, bagaimana pengaruh
pimpinan, rekan sekerja dan sarana fisik terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai dan
bagaimana pengaruh insentif terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Rumah
Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh
motivasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di Rumah
Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan dan mengetahui pengaruh yang
dominan (motivasi dan kepuasan kerja) terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di Rumah
Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah : a). Motivasi dan kepuasan kerja
berpengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di Rumah Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan
Negara Klas-I Medan, b) Pimpinan, rekan sekerja dan sarana fisik berpengaruh
terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Rumah Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I
Medan, dan c) insentif berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Rumah
Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan?
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai yang ada di Rumah
Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan yang berjumlah 32 orang pegawai.
Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini jumlah sampel yang diteliti sama dengan jumlah
populasi dari subjek yang akan diteliti, yaitu sebanyak 32 orang pegawai.
Data dikumpulkan dengan pengamatan, kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi.
Variabel yang diteliti dengan skala Likert. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan
perangkat lunak SPSS Versi 12,0, dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan pengujian
hipotesis dengan regresi linear berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : motivasi dan kepuasan kerja
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai. Motivasi berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai dan kepuasan kerja juga berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai. Motivasi mempunyai pengaruh yang
paling dominan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai, hal ini terlihat melalui tingkat
signifikansi pada persamaan regresi linier berganda variabel bebas terhadap variabel
terikat. Pimpinan, rekan sekerja dan sarana fisik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap
motivasi kerja pegawai. Hal ini berarti pimpinan, rekan sekerja dan sarana fisik
sangat menentukan atau berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan motivasi kerja pegawai.
Pimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai, rekan sekerja
kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai dan sarana
fisik juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai. Sarana fisik
mempunyai pengaruh yang paling dominan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai, hal ini
terlihat melalui tingkat signifikansi pada persamaan regresi linier berganda variabel
bebas terhadap variabel terikat.Insentif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan
kerja pegawai di Rumah Penyimpanan Benda Sitaan Negara Klas-I Medan.

ABSTRACT

The formulated problem of the study is “what is the effect of both motivation
and job satisfaction on the performance of officials, what is the effect of leadership,
peers and physical facilities on the working motivation of the officials and the
effect of incentive on job satisfaction of the officials in the Storage Agency of
State-Confiscated Goods Class I Medan.
The objective of the study is to know and analyze the effects of motivation and
job satisfaction on the performance of the officials in the Storage Agency of State-
Confiscated Goods Class I Medan and know the most dominant effect (motivation
and job satisfaction ) on the performance of officials in the Storage Agency of
State-Confiscated Goods Class I Medan
The hypothesis of the study includes :a). Motivation and job satisfaction
have effect on the performance of the officials in the Storage Agency of State-
Confiscated Goods Class I Medan, b) Leadership, peers and physical facilities have
effect on the working motivation of the officials in the Storage Agency of State-
Confiscated Goods Class I Medan and c) incentive has effect on job satisfaction of
the officials in the Storage Agency of State-Confiscated Goods Class I Medan
The population of the study included all the officials of the Storage Agency of
State-Confiscated Goods Class I Medan totalized of 32 officials. Therefore, in the
study, the number of samples being studied was similar to that of the subject to
be studied of 32 officials.
The data were collected by observation, questionnaire, and documentary
study. The variables were studied by using Likert’s scale. The data were analyzed by
using SPSS version 12.0 either descriptively and hypothesis test a using multiple
linear regression.
The result of the study showed that both motivation and jog satisfaction have
significant effect on the performance of the officials. Motivation has significant
effect on the performance of the officials and job satisfaction also has significant
effect on the performance of the officials. Motivation has the most dominant effect
on the performance of the officials as indicated by the significance rate in the
multiple linear regression equation of independent variable against the dependent
variables. The leadership, peers and physical facilities have significant effects on
the working motivation of the officials. It means that the leadership, peers, and
physical facilities are significantly determinative or have effect on the
improvement of motivation of the officials. The leadership has significant effect on
the motivation of the officials, peers and job satisfaction have significant effects on
the motivation of the officials and physical facilities also have significant effect on
the motivation of the officials. The physical facilities have the most dominant effect
on motivation of the officials as indicated by the significant rate of multiple linear
regression of the independent variables on the dependent variables. Incentive has
significant effect on the job satisfaction of the officials of the Storage Agency of
State-Confiscated Goods Class I Medan
