Considering the total period of stay, the total cost of the stay is calculated by applying and adding the fees corresponding
to each fraction (solar month, week, and day). For example, a stay with a check-in on March 1st and April 9th check-out
would be calculated as n. 1 solar month + n. 1 week + n. 2 days for a total cost, if subject to the reduced fee, of € 870,00.
In case of any damages made to the property, furniture, and/or the facility of the Collegio di Milano, a security deposit
of €400,00 (four-hundred/00) is required for a stay that surpasses two weeks or €100,00 (one-hundred/00) for a stay
shorter than 14 days, as stated in the Educational Agreement.

B. SERVICES
The rate includes the following services:
 Weekly room cleaning with change of bed sheets;
 Free Wi-Fi connection in the entire building;
 Participation in 2 courses of the Cultural Activities of the Collegio di Milano
 Air conditioning;
 Sheets, blanket, and pillow;
 Access to the library, study rooms, music room, equipped communal kitchen, and dining room;
 Access to the gym and sports field (upon presentation of a medical certificate);
 Medical assistance;
 Tutorship, Career service and International Relations;
 Access to parking for scooters and bicycles.
Available services at extra cost:
 Meal service (meal coupons can be obtained at Reception);
 Vending machines;
 Coin operated washers and dryer;
 Cultural activities (in addition to those included in the contract).
Towel, soap, hair dryer, private refrigerator, and anything else not expressly mentioned is not provided.

C. MODE OF PAYMENT – Should a stay be shorter than a solar month, advanced payment for the total number days
of stay at the Collegio di Milano is required. If a stay surpasses a solar month, advanced payment for the first
month is required. For all stays, payment of the security deposit must be made at the same time as payment for
the first month. Payments must be made online at http://pos.collegiodimilano.it with credit card. Payments for
successive months must be made before the 1st of every month. Cash payment is not accepted. Copy of the
payment, as well as the present Agreement, signed, via email to: segreteriastudenti@collegiodimilano.it
D. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT – A room check is mandatory at the time of check-in and check-out. Check-in and
check-out must be scheduled with the Student Life Office at: segreteriastudenti@collegiodimilano.it. Arrivals and
departures must take place during the hours of Reception: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 21:30 and Friday
from 8:30 to 18:30. You cannot check in during the weekend or when the Collegio di Milano is closed. The student
commits to being present in the room at the time of check-out which will be carried out either the same day the
room is vacated or one day prior. The check-out will be conducted by a Fondazione official. The Student Life Office
will inform the departing student by email, 5 days before, of the time and date of check out. In the event the
student is absent or unable to be present at the allocated time, a Student Life Office representative will conduct
the check-out on his/her behalf. The student declares that, from that moment on, the Student Life Office
representative has complete authority to act on behalf of the student with regards to check-out procedures,
without any contestation by the student.
E. RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT – At the end of the stay, the security deposit will be refunded via bank transfer
within a month of the departure after the guest has checked out, verification has been made that no damage has
been done to the building, furniture, facility and following the complete receipt of the bank account information
by the Student Life Office. Should the guest decide to leave the Collegio before the established date without proper
notice (Point F), the security deposit will be withheld as a refund. Upon advanced payment of the amount due, as
well as having completed, signed, and sent the Agreement, the security deposit will be withheld if the guest cancels
the reservation.
F. EXTENDING OR SHORTENING THE STAY – Extending one’s stay beyond the date initially established is strictly
dependent on the availability of accommodation. Therefore, it is necessary to make an official request at the
Student Life Office by communicating the new departure date and signing a new contract. In case of stays longer

 than a month, if the guest decides to leave the Collegio before the established date, they will have to give written
notice to the Student Life Office at segreteriastudenti@collegiodimilano.it at least 4 weeks before the new
departure date. If this is not done, the security deposit will be withheld. If a stay is shorter than a month, the guest
will have no rights to a refund on behalf of the Fondazione. In case of postponing the day of arrival, indicated in
this agreement, the whole fee must be paid, and any refund will not be done.
G. FAILURE TO PAY – Failure to pay, even partially, within 10 days of the due date will result in a termination of the
contract upon responsibility of the guest, and the guest will incur a penalty in accordance with the law.
H. CLOSING PERIODS – The Collegio di Milano is closed to all guests for the entire month of August and for about 10
days between the Christmas and New Year holidays (there is no discount for the month of December). Guests are
not authorized to stay at the Collegio during these periods.
I. RULES AND SAFETY – Upon arrival, guests must read over and formally accept the Collegio di Milano’s Educational
Agreement which contains information on regulations, services, personnel, and safety. Fondazione Collegio delle
Università Milanesi is exempt from liability for the loss, theft, damage or destruction of personal property or
personal items of value left unattended in the rooms and in the common area.
J. OUTSIDE GUESTS – Outside guests are allowed into the Collegio between the hours of 8:00 and 24:00. They must
sign in at Reception and should behave in accordance with the Educational Agreement.
K. Before check-in, the Student must e-mail segreteriastudenti@collegiodimilano.it with the following documents:
 Copy of Italian Tax Code (if available);
 Valid medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activities.

By signing this document, I agree to fully accept the conditions set by the Collegio di Milano.
