PERFORMANCE BOND

A Allow for all necessary expanses in complying with the terms

of Tender of Conditions of Contract and Specifications
including of Performance Bond L.S

INSURANCES

B Allow for Contractor's All Risk Insurance Policy to cover the

whole contract cost for insurance of work and for Third Party
Insurance and SOCSO shall cover the contract period plus 1
year defects liability period inclusive insurance for tree felling.

SETTING OUT

C Provide and maintain survey instruments including engaging a

licensed surveyor and attendants to the approval of the S.O.
for setting out and checking and establishment of all necessary
bench marks for the duration of the contract period.

CPM PROGRAMME

D Provide Programme of work by using Critical Path Method as

specified. L.S

PROJECT SIGNBOARD

E Provide and erect 1 no. project signboards to include the title

of the project, name of the contractor etc., the design and
wordings of the signboards shall be approved by the S.O.
L.S

CONTRACTOR'S WORKING AREA

F Provide and maintanin Contractor's facilities and temporary

works. Rate shall include remove & reinstate after completion
L.S

G Provide Contractor's working area and subsequent removal of

all rubbish, spoils, debris and the like for the whole period of
the contract and on completion of the Works

H Provide all necessary services, security guards, temporary

lighting and fencing, water supply, and safety enforcement
throughout the duration of the Contract Period.

J Provide proper provision and maintenance for drainage of
surface water from the site of works to avoid any hazel to the
public. L.S

K Provide sanitary convenience and first aid equipment

throughout the duration of the Contract Period. L.S

WORKING AT NIGHT

A Provide all necessary permit safety precautions and lighting to

work at night. L.S

PHOTOGRAPHS

B Provide set of five (5) prints of progress colour photograph in

suitable bound album and floppy diskettes (by using digital L.S
camera).

PROGRESS REPORT

The Contractor shall prepare and submit site dairy for the
works to be signed by both the contractor's repsentatives and

S.O. repsentatives. The contractor shall allow for making
copies of these reports for distribution to all parties concerned

COST AND CHARGES

D Allow for keeping public roads clean from traces of

construction debris caused by the Contractor, etc.

E Allow for expenses incurred in obtaining permit from local

authorities to road cuting and material storage along the road L.S
shoulder as specified.

Allow for cost incurred includes fees or charges etc. payable to
the relevant Authorities for the diversion (permanent or

temporary) of water mains, TNB cables, telecom cables, sewer
pipes and any other public utilities as instructed by the S.O.

G Allow for cost incurred includes fees or charges etc, payable

for JKR for working in road reserves, digging of roads under LS
the maintenance of JKR.
