5.0 PROPOSAL AND QUOTATION

5.1 Site visit, Specialist Investigation for 2 days, Photographs, Data Collection,
Diagnosis and Proposal.

5.2 Preliminaries, Mobilization, Mapping Leakage Locations, Progress

Photographs, Daily Transportation to and from site (Sg. Buloh- Bangi- Sg.
Buloh) and finally Demobilization for a maximum duration of 28 days Work.
(Note:- the actual no. of days is to be used to calculate the costing) RM 4,200.00

28 days Work @ RM150.00 per day

5.3 Leakage Repair & Waterproofing To The Defective Leaking Concrete And
Along Foot Of Brickwall At 12 nos Large Leakage Locations

(a) Erect scaffolding, platform and stairs as temporary working access to the rc
flat roof

(A) Repair To the Defective Leaking Concrete

(b) Determine the proposed concrete area to be hacked. Hack out the screed,
failed waterproofing and defective concrete such as along crack line,
honeycomb and poor cold joints about 50mm depth. Also hack out about
50mm depth any existing leaking concrete around the rain water down pipe.
Cart away all debris out of site.

(Note- there are also many small leaking areas)

(c) Wash and clean the hacked surface. Wire brush and clean any exposed
reinforcements.

(d) Cast high strength non-shrink grout Sika215 + 10mm granite chipping (70:30)
into the cleaned hacked area and provide curing.
(e) Carry out water ponding test for at least 1 day on the spot concrete repaired
areas on the rc roof.

(f) Wash and clean the ‘sound’ grouted repaired concrete spot areas.

(g) Lay primer CL Primer P1 on the prepared surface.

(h) Lay the 1st coat of a UV resistant elastomeric seamless waterproofing

membrane CL KOTE 22.

(i) Lay a reinforcing fabric CL Fabric 98 while the 1st coat of CL KOTE 22 is wet.

(j) Lay at least 2 more coats of CL KOTE 22 to complete the elastic seamless UV
resistant waterproofing membrane system.

(k) Screed back mix with a high performance admixture/bonding agent CN-FLEX
1000to match with existing screed levels

(l) Make good plaster ceiling and painting at the leakage repaired locations.

(B) Leakage Repair Along Foot Of Brickwall

(m) Where required, temporary dismantle the existing roof tiles, faciaboard etc.
obstructing the Works so as to have sufficient working access along the foot
of the leaking brickwall

(n) Along the leaking foot of brickwall, hack about 50mm depth x 250mm height.
Cart away all debris out of site

(o) Wash and clean the hack surfaces

(p) Install formwork

(q) Cast Sika 215 + 10mm granite chippings into the formwork

(r) The next day remove formwork, wash and clean the grouted hidden up stand
beam or kicker

(s) Carry out ponding test or hose water test

(t) Lay 2 layers of cementitious waterproofing membrane with Sika Topseal 107

(u) Plaster and screed back mix with CLP CN-Flex 1000 to match with existing
(v) Painting on the new plastered wall and make good to the plaster ceiling and
painting at the repaired leakage location.

12 nos large leakage locations @ RM1, 700.00 per location RM20, 400.00

Total Amount = RM26, 100.00

Add GST 6% = RM 1,566.00
Total Amount including GST 6% = RM27, 666.00
