Welcome to the Family: At the other end of the age scale,
ChemElectroChem has just been launched by ChemPubSoc
Europe and Wiley-VCH. This exciting new journal covers all as-
pects of electrochemistry, from analysis and catalysis, to bio
and nano, and energy. ChemElectroChem publishes Communi-
cations, Full Papers, Reviews, Minireviews, Highlights, and Con-
cepts. The co-chairs of the journal, Bing-Wei Mao (Xiamen Uni-
versity), Wolfgang Schuhmann (Ruhr-Universitt Bochum), and
Jean-Marie Tarascon (Universit de Picardie, Amiens) together
with the Editor-in-Chief, Greta Heydenrych, have assembled
a truly international Editorial Board containing many of the
leaders in the various fields of electrochemistry. The response
from the community has been amazing and the first issue will
appear in January 2014, with many papers already available
online on the journal homepage (www.chemelectrochem.org).
