Andrés Ruzo Registration and

Andrés Ruzo is a scientist, author, science communicator and educator, who in Continental Breakfast
2011 became the first geoscientist granted permission to study the sacred Boiling

Andrés is a TED Speaker, TED Book Author, National Geographic Explorer, and The Boiling River:

degrees in Geology and Finance from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX), Andrés Ruzo

Jessica Williams is Professor of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago,
where she teaches in the MA TESOL program. Her area of research is second
language learning. She is the author of several ELT student books as well as 11:30 am–11:45 am BREAK
professional reference books for ELT professionals.

Rob Jenkins
Rob Jenkins is Professor of ESL at Santa Ana College, School of Continuing to Gain Employability
Education, in Southern California. Rob was recently awarded the prestigious
Distinguished Faculty Award, the highest honor bestowed by colleagues upon 12:45 pm–1:30 pm Closing Remarks and Lunch
a Santa Ana College faculty member and was nominated for Orange County
Teacher of the Year.
