1. Requirement Overview
The reserve worksheet allows you to process multiple reserves associated with a
claim at once. This feature was already available with RMX but it was limited to
corporate customers only. With this enhancement UX of Reserve worksheet has
been modified to support carrier clients, mobility and other UX standards.

1.1. Assumptions and Constraints

The following assumptions apply to this enhancement:

1) This requirement will be developed as Reserve worksheet for carrier clients and
would be released in rmA 18.1 version.
2) All existing functionality will work as it was working before. In addition, reserve
worksheet will be available to carrier clients too.
3) Financial key setup will be used to identify carrier and corporate claims.
4) The requirements stated in this document may be modified depending on the
technical feasibility of implementation. All the stake holders will be notified of the
change, if any.

1.2. Current Scenario

1.2.1 Currently, user can enable Reserve Worksheet for specified LOB in
utilitysystem parameters Line of business parameter. Once this setting is ON
Reserve worksheet feature will be available for all corporate claims.

1.2.2 Current code doesn’t handle financial key setup for carrier clients and
as result it is available for corporate claims only.

1.3. Proposed Scenario

 Design of worksheet screen will be changed to match UX Standards.

 Reserve worksheet will be drived through VFK setup to provide support for both
corporate and carrier claims.
 User will be able to add new worksheet from reserve listing screen.
 User can navigate worksheet history from reverse listing screen.

2. Implementation

Reserve workshet feature is limited to corporate customers only. This

enhancement will enable reserve worksheet feature for carrier clients too.

2.1 Carrier Claims

2.1.1. Financial Key Setup:

As shown in screen shot below if Policy/unit/coverage or Reserve sub type
key is set to true for a Claim type or Policy LOB in financial key setup, then
corresponding claim type is treated as carrier claim.

Above financial key setup suggests claim type WCV1 is a carrier claim. in current rmA

After implementation of proposed enhancement reserve worksheet will be available for the
same claim as shown below.

2.1.2. New Reserve worksheet

 We can create new worksheet from ‘Reserve Worksheet’ button available on

Financial Reserve Screen tool bar. (as shown in above screen shot)

 User can setup multiple reserves using new button from reserve worksheet screen.
As shown in above screen shot.

 User can setup reserve financial key on “Reserve Worksheet Key Setup” screen.
Refer screen shot below.

 Mandatory/optional fields on Reserve worksheet will be determined on the basis of

financial key setup.

 Reserve workheet screen is rendered according to reserve worksheet key

setup as shown below. A separate section for each reserve financial key

will be created. Fields in each section is same as existing reserve

worksheet and are same for both carrier and corporate claims.

2.1.3. Reserve worksheet print for carrier claims

Reserve worksheet print function will show reserve financial key as heading followed
by reserve details for each financial key. Refer screen shot below.

 From reserve listing screen user will be able to create new reserve
worksheet.

 Separate sections will be created for each Reserve Type. Refer screen shot

2.2.Reserve Worksheet on claimant level

 If Claimant is set to true in Financial Key Setup as shown below, Reserve
worksheet will be created on claimant level

 User will be prompted a popup to set up reserve worksheet key, where he/she
can select a claimant to create worksheet. Please refer below screen

2.4 Reserve Worksheet history

Following screen is proposed design for reserve worksheet history. A user will be able
to approve/reject pending reserve from this screen. In addition, user will also be able
to add reserve worksheet from here.

2.5 Customize Reserve worksheet

Functionality of Customize Reserve Worksheet has not been changed.

Here user will be able to customize reserve types and transaction types
to be available on reserve worksheet. Screen’s look and feel has been
changed to match the UX standards. Customization of reserve worksheet
will only be available for corporate clients.

2. Data base design: No db change is required for this implementation

No new system interfaces or changes to existing interfaces are needed for this
requirement.

No new hardware interfaces or changes to existing hardware interfaces are needed for
this requirement.

6. Dependencies between Requirements

This new enhancement would work along with the existing Reserve Worksheet.

7. Exceptions
1) Multi lingual support is not available as of now. It will be available in 18.2
2) All Custom implementation needs to be redone. Customization done for
Safeway is one of the Identified custom.
3) Customization of Reserve worksheet is not supported as of now for carrier
clients, this will be added in 18.2
