Dear Parents/Families,
In conjunction with Under 8’s week this year, the theme is Children exploring language and
culture. To extend children’s understanding of community and literacy, Kindergarten is
planning a visit to Sarina Library on Tuesday, 22 May 2018. We will be leaving Grandma’s
Place at 10.00am and be walking to the library, we will be returning by 11.30am.
Children are to wear enclosed shoes and as always, a hat. Families are welcomed to attend the
excursion or meet us there. Please make sure you sign an Excursion Authorisation Form
which will be located near the sign in area of the room.
We hope to continue our visits to library through the year and have also have brochures
available to take from the library about the services they provide.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to one of the Educators in the room who
are more than happy to answer them.
