Important Instructions for the Candidates


(M.Tech. & M.Sc. Entrance Exam: 2018-20)

General Instructions
1. The date and time of written examination
a. M.Tech Course: 9/June/2018 09:30 - 11:30 hrs. (Reporting Time 08:30 hrs.)
b. M.Sc. Course: 9/June/2018 14:00 - 16:00 hrs. (Reporting Time 13:00 hrs.)
2. Interview date and time *
a. M.Tech. Course: 10/June/2018 (Reporting Time 08:30 hrs)
b. M.Sc. Course: 10/June/2018 (Reporting Time 08:30 hrs)

Note: Candidates shortlisted for interview are advised to stay for one more
day.

Interview will be conducted for candidates qualifying the entrance examination
only. Such candidates have to bring original marksheets and certificates (10th
onwards) for verification before appearing in the interview.

3. Admit card can be downloaded online w.e.f. 18/May/2018 (14:00 hrs) from IIRS
Website (admissions.iirs.gov.in)

DIRECTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

1. Please check the Admit Card carefully for your Registration No (Registration No. and
Roll No. are same), Name, Course and Exam Centre. In case of any discrepancy,
communicate to IIRS (admissions2018@iirs.gov.in) immediately for necessary action.
2. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least one hour before the exam so as to
complete the registration formalities well before the time. No candidate, in any
circumstances, will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the
commencement of the exam.
3. No candidate without Admit Card shall be allowed to appear in the Examination.
4. Candidates are requested to carry any valid photo identity proof (College ID Card,
Driving License, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter Id, PAN Card) to the examination
Centre.

5. Candidate will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the end of the exam.
6. Candidates are not allowed to bring rough paper into the exam hall. Blank paper will
be provided for rough work in the exam hall. Candidates will not be allowed to leave
the exam hall without handing over the rough sheet to the Invigilator concerned after
the end of exam.
7. Calculators, log tables, calculating devices, communication devices like cellular phone
etc. and textual materials are not allowed in the Examination Centre. Violation of this
will lead to cancellation of candidature.
8. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the Centre
Coordinators and Invigilators.
9. The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the
eligibility conditions.
10. No candidate will be allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre. IIRS
will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.
11. Smoking and eating is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
12. Candidates have to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements for
appearing in the entrance examination / Interview. Accommodation will not be
provided.
