World Mission Outreach

To proclaim the Gospel; equip the next generation; mobilize the church throughout the world

August 7, 2010

Shalom Dear Friends,

Greetings to you in the wonderful name of Yeshua. We just

completed another outreach here in the land with a team the
Lord gave us from the nations. It was such a privilege to work
together and lead this team in touching the lives of the
different people groups here in Israel. Most of the team
arrived on June 25, including Phoebe, our Egyptian sister
who the Lord brought back again. We realized quickly that
the work Yeshua began in May with the first team was
followed up by the second team in June. The first few days
we took time to bond together by fellowshipping, praying and
seeing key places here in Israel. During these times, the Lord
brought so many people for us to share the Gospel with.

On both outreaches we had the privilege to visit a Lebanese refugee family in Metulla in northern Israel
on the border of Lebanon. They made a wonderful Lebanese dinner for us. Ronny (38), father of two
beautiful little girls, has been very sick. The Doctors have been unable to diagnose him and on our first
visit there were so many tears. This time was different. All the
prayers that went up to the Lord were answered. There was so
much joy! Henry and Phoebe spent private time with Ronny
and asked his testimony. He told them he is from a Catholic
background and couldn’t really point to when he had received
Yeshua. He wasn’t even sure of what it meant to be born again.
He was stuck on being justified by his own good works. He
admitted he was angry against God for his physical situation
and even blamed God. The Lord did a great work that evening
and Ronny opened his heart to Yeshua asking the Lord for
forgiveness. Praise the Lord!

Please pray for Ronny. For his follow-up, for healing emotionally and physically. There is so much
tradition here in Israel, whether it is with the Lebanese refugees or Palestinian Christians or even Jews.

On July 1 and 2, we were busy in the north on the streets and

beaches. We split the team in two’s and had many good
conversations. Each group had many testimonies. Darlene
and I met two Arabs, one man and one woman. The woman
was a Police officer who was translating for her friend. She
became very interested in the conversation and continued to
speak with us alone. She was convicted and right there prayed
to receive Yeshua for the first time. It was amazing! We pray
that she will attend the congregation for growth.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power
of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first
and also for the Gentile” Romans 1:16
Two of the many blessings for us, was that our dear Israeli friend
Sharona spent much time with the team and has grown so much in the
Lord. The other is our dear friend Sheila, a Jewish woman from New
York, who was able to spend time with us and the team. Although she
is not a believer, she chose to hang out with 9 evangelists! She even
came to the Lebanese service in Arabic. Please pray for Sheila to
surrender to HIM. The Lord is so faithful and we can trust Him.

We thank you for your love and support. You are a part of our team. Your prayers and financial support
make a difference. May the Lord bless you and your family for your faithfulness to Him and to us. Please
pray about joining us on the field sometime. You would be blessed and you would be a blessing to many.

We also thank God for the scholarship He provided for us to attend a 3 week intensive seminar for
educators at Yad VaShem (Holocaust Remembrance Museum) here in Jerusalem. We pray that the Lord
will use this in touching the lives of the many survivors here in the land.

In His Service,
Henry and Darlene
