Implications of the findings in relation to the genre:

This kind of genre presents many adjectives to evaluate what is being presented. Some
words that have negative meanings can have a positive connotation. For example:
addicted, on line 100. The same can occur with words that have neutral meaning. The
author can use a negative connotation, as in “religious” on line 22.

Implications of teaching sense relations to students of English:

Teaching Sense Relations is a good way to improve the student’s vocabulary. However,
we need to be careful about the text we will choose. Sometimes, it presents words that are
difficult to the reader’s understanding. For example, if I choose a music review about
twenty one pilots, I need to be aware that I will have to select a text that presents the
definition of Blurryface. I would use this music review in a class because I could do
exercises based on the concept Blurryface, so I could ask for the students to find
synonyms and antonyms for the word.
