COURSE OUTCOMES

At the end of the course module, students should be able to:-

1. Determine personal safety regulation and working procedures.

2. Select and safety use of workplace, tools and equipment.
3. Service and maintain workplace, machine tools and equipment.
4. Avoid workplace hazards.
5. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
6. Identify type of fire fighting equipment and their application.
7. Identify type of emergency procedures.
8. Explain and apply basic First Aid.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This module covers workplace safety guidance material contributes to the state of knowledge about hazards and risks and the ways of
removing or reducing the hazard and risk, emergency procedures, equipment and hands tools, basic regulation, fire fighting and basic first aid
in workplace.
