To Whom It May Concern :

Thank you for dedicating your time to review my resume as well as for taking my skills
into consideration for the position. It is to great significance that the youth generation’s
involvement into the real world becomes a mandatory thing for us today. This is exactly
why I want to prepare myself for this new journey to college by gaining experience in a
business environment. I seek an opportunity that will improve my growth as an
individual in the academic world and development in my responsibilities.

I took part of many activities during my three years of highschool at Bravo. I have a true
passion for running and being athletic. I am going to be part of the Cross Country Team
for 4 years and Track and Field Team for 3 years which have been an amazing
experience because I met and united with a new family of runners. We bonded so
greatly and helped each other not only in athletics but also academics. I have also ran
the LA Marathon 3 years and will continue running it in the future. This passion started
since middle school because Students Run LA helps our generation get involved with
charity and being active. I love promoting people to get out and run because staying fit
is really important for one’s health.

Something that really influenced me and changed my academic life was that in my
junior year I conducted a research project. The qualifications for this project involved a
variety set of deadlines started by collecting research and then putting all the
information together. I dedicated my research to animal testing because I wanted to be
more introduced to people’s perspectives regarding a serious topic. I conducted surveys
to teenagers of my school and used Google Spreadsheets to organize all my data and
analysis. I input all my findings, graphs, charts, and research into a 15 min presentation
and a professional research project. As a form of informing my peers I presented my
findings in the school’s annual Research Convention portraying my a display board I
built. My research was a tough journey gathering information from credible sources but
with hard work and determination to accomplish something I wanted to learn more
about truly help me find that I want to keep researching this concept in the future.

I think being involved in school is very important mostly when it involves collaborating
with your peers and helping the community. As being part of the California Scholarship
Federation at my school we help our community in many ways. We dedicate our time to
volunteer for a variety of events such as The Alzheimer's Walk, The Aids Walk, The
Rock and Roll Race, and other events. This club has truly demonstrated that teens can
make a difference in our community. Working together with people who have the
ambition to help our community as well. Teamwork is the true definition of
accomplishing achievements.
Attending Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet Senior High School has helped me improve
many characteristics which have demonstrated improvement. I am looking forward to
working with you and putting my skills to the test.
