A little about us. Nancy is both a Gerontologist and Registered Nurse, and is currently Executive Director
of a top rated Assisted Living community in the Louisville area. Michael was a sales/marketing executive in
consumer products, and is now retired and a full time “dog dad”.
We have been Bullmastiff owners for 28 years and members of the American Bullmastiff Association (ABA)
for 20 years. We are also members of the Louisville Kennel Club and the Great Lakes Bullmastiff
Association. When we lived in the Pacific Northwest, Michael helped form the Cascade NW Bullmastiff
Club (CNBC) and served as Vice President. Nancy later served as CNBC President for 2 years.
We bought our first Bullmastiff in 1990, shortly after we were married, and have been in love with the breed
ever since. We started as pet owners, but in 1998 after we lost our first Bullmastiff, we bought a “show
quality” female and agreed to show and breed her. What started as an obligation soon turned into a passion.
We have now been showing and selectively breeding Bullmastiffs for 20 years as Aria Bullmastiffs.
We place top priority on temperament, and we breed for what is known as “typey” Bullmastiffs (beautiful
square heads, square bodies, lots of substance) and good movement. However, we remain first and foremost,
pet owners. All our dogs live with us; they are our family. When we have a litter, our primary concern is
placing our puppies in good homes where they will be part of the family. If that sounds like you, please feel
free to contact us. If we don’t have puppies, we’ll be happy to refer you to other responsible breeders.

We do Penn Hip, Echo Doppler, Michigan thyroid full panel and ophthalmology exams. Health info for specific dogs available on request.
