 Worked as an Oracle DBA for Mphasis ltd, from April 2013 to Dec 2014 under payroll
of Sharp Gaze tech services pvt ltd, Chennai.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Cerner is a health IT solutions that are certified under the Office of the National Coordinator
for Health Information Technology. Our applications are developed with clinicians in mind so
they can focus on people, not technology. Our mission remains to contribute to the systemic
improvement of health care delivery and the health of communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Installing oracle Database 11g software on multiple platforms.

 Creating Standalone Databases.
 Creating Standby databases, switchover using DGMGRL and manual sometimes.
 ASM disk addition, migrations from 3-par to EMC storage.
 Creating small File tablespaces, Big file tablespaces.
 Creating users, roles, assigning roles to the users.
 Adding Datafiles to Tablespaces when space is needed.
 Database duplication (Backup based duplication, Active duplication).

Role : oracle DBA
Environment : Oracle Linux/Redhat Linux, Windows environments.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Sabre Holdings Corporation is a travel technology company, provides
software to travel agencies, corporations, travelers, airline, and hotels, as well as car, rail,
cruise, and tour operator companies worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Upgrading of RAC databases from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4 on different Platforms.
 Exposure on Migration of database from lower versions to higher versions on Linux etc.

 Applying Latest PSU patch depending on the client requirement.
 Attending Weekly conference calls for the weekly progress of the upgrade work.
 Checking the logs for the successful backup of the database.
 Handling databases sizes range from 500GB to 45 TB.
 Taking the successful backup of database before upgrading the database.
 Running oracheck for checking prerequisites as a part of pre-upgrade check on the
server.
 Experienced Installation of oracle software and client software on different platforms.
 Experienced creating stand alone, RAC Databases.
 Troubleshooted the cluster databases using crsctl and srvctl utilities
