Car Bottom Roller

Recommended to apply the grease with the correct amount as recommended by the
roller manufacturer. Excessive grease will dripped to the rollers and will affect the

Travelling Cable Installation

Recommended to provide rectification schedule to VHCP for all 125 lifts travelling cable installation
methods. Some lifts travelling cable seen either rubbing against the lift shaft wall and/or improper
installation.

Effect Of A Poor Installation

Refer to previous for the effect of poor installation, breakdown can occur due to
poor communication between the car and the controller. All power and signal
communication is been transmitted through the traveling cable.

Car Comp Rope Condition

Recommended to clean before lubricating the rope and to follow the rope
manufacture recommendation and remove stuck object to prevent breakdown
related to rope issuer

wiring Recommended to patch the lift shaft evenly and all hoist way wires to sealed with
the flexible conduit or trunking. Overtime expose cable may cause breakdown due
to communication signal between the landing door operator and the controller.

Landing door adjustment

Machine room must be maintain in a clean and dry condition. VHCP and Schindler
to discuss amicably to resolve the AC condensation issues and the uneven flooring

Machine Room lighting must always be in operating condition. VHCP and Schindler
to discuss amicably on the rectification schedule.

Machine Room Motor Beam

Recommended to ensure all lift motor beam to be fully sealed, overtime may cause
structural issues due to movement from the lift machine. Defects arise from poor
installation methods.

Lift Speed Governor

Observed and Recommended to update VHCP the rectification schedule to clean 125 units of the GOV unit and to ensure it is
free from rust and/or corrosion.

Recommended to update VHCP the schedule to rectify the loose wire defect, defect found whilst taking the 3 phase current
reading and recommended to check on all 125 units wires termination to prevent power instability issues, also
recommended to install voltage stabilizer to prevent breakdown related to sudden voltage surge.
