To

The Honourable Dy. Chief Minister, Mr. R R Patil,

Maharashtra Govt.

Subject: Complaint against Sh.Bhanudas Gopu alias Govind Rathod ,

Raosaheb Mahadev Borde, Sadashiv Daula Chate, Shridhar Kishan Giram ,
Narayan Dhansingh Rathod and others.

Respected Sir,

Most respectfully we would like to introduce ourselves as a growing

enterprise in the Sugar manufacturing unit. Our industry is also shortly
venturing into subsidiaries like distillery, co-generation and raw sugar
refining processes. We are the only private sector unit in Orissa with a
mission to revive a state owned sick cooperative unit to not only a profit
making one but also bring upliftment to the economy of the state and its
people.

With this mission we have been engaging the people of Maharashtra in

our project activities which not only helps us and the people of
Maharashtra in creating employment but also creates a friendly tie
between the two states.

However it is quite unfortunate to bring it to your notice that last week we

had to witness incidences of fraud and cheating by some anti-social
elements of Talwada P.S area under Beed district.

On 22nd November, 2009 around 11.30 am at Lonala village under

Talwada P.S we had negotiated with Bhanudas Gopu alias Govind Rathod
and Raosaheb Mahadeo Borde for the supply of sugar harvesting labours
(120 nos). In lieu of above contract, token advance of Rs. 2,50,000(Two
Lakhs Fifty Thousand) was given to above two contractors with an
agreement to supply the labours on the same day. But on the same day
evening both the contractors breached the agreement and absconded
from the village with the money without supplying the labourers. A
complaint was lodged for the above incident to the local Talwada Police
Station vide FIR No. 116/09 dated 25.11.2009 under section 420/467/34
IPC. We also approached Superintendent of Police, Beed Mr. Lakhmi
Gautam for speedy action to nab the culprits and recover the money.

In another similar incident in the same district we were also cheated by

an amount of more than Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs) by
another group of criminals the details of whom are noted below. With this
respect we tried to book an FIR with the local Parli P.S, Parli Vaijnath, Dist.
Beed but the local police authorities denied to register the offence.

1. Sadashiv Daula Chate, S/o Daula Bhagugi, Age-41yrs, Post Choundi,

P.S/Tq. Dharur, Dist. Beed.
2. Shridhar Kishan Giram, S/o Kishanrao Keshavrao Giram, Age-38 yrs,
Post Babalgaon, P.S/Tq. Pathri, Dist. Parbhani.
3. Narayan Dhansingh Rathod, S/o Dhansingh Seva Rathod, Age-47
yrs, Post Limba, P.S/Tq. Pathri, Dist. Parbhani.

As sugarcane crushing season has already started we would need the

money or the labourers back without which the industry and the
sugarcane growers will suffer badly.

On behalf of thousands of poor sugarcane growers, allied direct and

indirect employees of the industry, we would like to seek your kind
intervention in bringing justice at the earliest.

Thanking you

Yours faithfully

(Trailokya Mishra)
