Instructions: Read the following dialogues in Spanish and score each of them according to the
Spanish Writing Rubric on your Writing Workshop worksheet. The maximum score for each dialogue is 10
Points based on the following categories: Written in Spanish, Completion of Task, Comprehensibility, Variety of
Vocabulary, & Correct Grammar Usage. If there is incorrect grammar or vocabulary, be sure to underline the
mistakes and write the corrections in the margins.

Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is for you to familiarize yourself with the rubric Mr. Minot will be using to
grade and assess your writing in Spanish throughout the course – and for you to be able to effectively give
feedback and suggestions of your classmates’ writing samples during peer review.
