Activity Reflection

Produce Font Tests, Colour Tests, Page This went well as at the conclusion I felt that I
Layout Designs had suitable fonts for both my
masthead/headline font and my body text.

Producing Contingency plan and Risk These were produced relatively quickly, and
assessment proved effective in the production of the
newspaper in keeping the crew safe.

Producing Articles These articles were successful and the

feedback I received on them was mostly
positive. However, the main issue I had
initially was the length of the articles, with a
specific word count being in place to fit the
double page spread.

Taking Photos Capturing photos took slightly longer than

initially planned, with the number and quality
of the photo’s slightly below sufficient quality.
I then recaptured 1 of the photo’s which
wasn’t successful.

Produce front page The cover page I produced was effective,

although did take a significant amount of time
to complete to a high quality. This was initially
due to regrasping the tools and layout of
photoshop and indesign. However after
getting used to the software again, I produced
my cover page to a good standard and
received positive feedback overall.

Produce double page spreads The two double page spreads production
process was successful.

Export newspaper I exported the newspaper relatively quickly

and without issues.
