Basic Lesson Context, Extenuating Circumstances and Narrative (use additional sheets if necessary)

Amanda taught a writing focused on narrative writing. The instructional outcomes were for students to complete a story board
based on given a setting and character. The lesson began with students being given the setting of the north pole and the character,
Gingerbread man or woman. Students then illustrated their story. Using their illustrations, students wrote narratives using
temporal words. Much of the lesson was spent with students conferencing with the teachers and writing. The lesson closed out
with students reviewing the objectives.
