 The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) was
established in 1973 by the Government of India as a Center of
Excellence in the field of management education.

Over the years IIM Bangalore has grown into a nurturing ground for
corporate leaders across the globe. A reflection of this eminence:
IIM Bangalore is the only Asian B-school to be rated among the top
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore 100 business schools worldwide by the Wall Street Journal.

The faculty at IIMB is an eclectic blend of academicians, researchers

ICON THE IIMB CONSULTING CLUB

ICON, the “Consulting Club” at IIM Bangalore was set up as a

student's organization in October 1999. ICON aims to provide
high quality consulting services to business enterprises,
entrepreneurs and voluntary organizations. Committed to
delivering innovation, ICON collaborates with its clients to
deliver high quality value added projects. Our objective is to
enable industry to benefit from the cutting edge management
pedagogy imparted to IIMB students and the latest
developments in management techniques and to apply these to
organizations. In addition, we aim to provide IIMB students with
live consulting experience and to enable them to flavour all that
consulting offers - challenging assignments, endless variety and a
chance to hone all-important analytical and problem-solving
skills.
